Sebastian typed away as shells exploded above the bunker shielding his head. Far underground, he decoded messages sent between the Alderaan forces and their allies. A slow clock ticked and he tried to count the hours in his head, unsure of how long William and himself had been trapped beneath the city. With Sith guarding the door, Sebastian worked in haste to send hidden signals to the Imperial forces, under the risk of death.

The smell of grime laced with smoke filled the bunker and William coughed, making Sebastian worry about his asthma flaring up. His friend combed through the transmission to locate any evacuation forces who might transport them off the world. The last thing Sebastian needed was to end up in Sith hands, fighting as one of their acolytes. With his computer plugged into a terminal, he tapped away and dissected the broadcast as code, without any sign of evacuation parties.

"Thebathtian..." William paused to cough and pushed his glasses up his nose. "There's a makeshift hospital in an underpass near here, the Sith don't know about it." He coughed again and Sebastian turned around, his eyes hard with concern. As he nodded, William retrieved his inhaler from his coat and puffed away, coughing again as Sebastian watched him struggle to breath amidst the stained air.

"Try to get in touch with one of the doctors." Sebastian cupped his chin as he thought. He turned around and continued to decode the transmission, turning the dial on the terminal and flicking through stations for updates on the situation.

"I'm sending our coordinates to a doctor, his name is Xensi..." William said as he typed into the communicator. His sentence was cut off by a loud bang, followed by the stomping of heavy boots down the dark corridor. The Sith sentry guarding the bunker accompanied a warrior, covered head to toe in armor as they stared down the two mathematicians.

"Do you have the set of transponder locations?" The Sith warrior boomed. Turning around fiercely, Sebastian stared him down with an expression of cold rage. He nodded and handed the man the graph from the desk. With one glance, he growled and grabbed Sebastian by his chin, his gloved hand entrapping his jaw. Sebastian felt his cheeks bruise as he squirmed and opened his top lap, crunching down a hard bite on the Sith's hand.

The warrior spat and released Sebastian, throwing a hard slap across the side of his face. "Find the remaining signal, or you will pay with your life!" He shouted. Thrown to the ground, Sebastian heard William squeal as he rubbed the side of his face. He stood up, features unmoved as he glared at both of the Sith.

William sat against the side of the wall and shook himself into a stupor. As the Sith left, Sebastian knelt down beside him. He rubbed his shoulder in a comforting gesture and said nothing, unable to find any words which might ease the situation. He sat down at William's computer and sent the coordinates to the doctor working in the underpass hospital in the hope that they could both meet and find a way out of the city.

Sebastian turned around to see William sputtering desperately. His face turned purple as he struggled to breathe and Sebastian leaped from the chair and knelt beside, unsure of what to do. He took a breath and looked around, trying to remain focused. He took off his coat, which he rolled up and placed beneath William's head. He took the blaster from his side and lay him down. "Sh!" He placed a lip to his fingers and tried to keep him calm, motioning for him to stay quiet while he explored the bunker for medical supplies.

This doctor had to find them fast before the entire city crumbled, leaving them trapped.
