The deflection emitter enables the weapon to deflect blaster bolts more easily, giving the wielder more protection from ranged attacks. The diatium power cell is the source of the lightsaber's power.

DESCRIPTION
Kaalia gained possession of this lightsaber after an encounter with a dark Jedi. In that encounter she killed the man, taking his lightsaber to use as her own. She named the weapon Cruentis Cor, which translates to Bleeding Heart as the encounter was her first experience using the dark side and the subsequent guilt she felt while using it. The weapon itself is the most technologically advanced, for example the lack of abifurcating cyclical-ignition pulse causes the weapon to short out when submerged. However, it is made out of sturdy materials like the saber she crafted herself. This makes the weapon durable against lightsaber hits. It sports a deflection emitter, which allows the user to deflect blaster bolts more easily.
