Development Thread: N/A
Manufacturer: Cross Ikon
Model: N/A
Affiliation: Cross Ikon
Modularity: Power pack
Production: Unique
Material: Durasteel, blaster components
Classification: Heavy blaster pistol
Size: Handheld
Length: .5m
Weight: 3kg
Ammunition Type: Power Cell and Gas Canister
Ammunition Capacity: 10 high-power shots (can dent or even crack beskar or phrik), 25 medium power (good against durasteel and thick armorweave), and 50 low-power (medium to light armorweave)
Effective Range: 50-75m
Rate of Fire: Semiautomatic
Special Features:
- Changeable power setting (highest setting could probably give somebody in beskar or phrik a nasty hit. Wouldn't pierce completely, though)
- Stun setting
- Much longer range than a normal pistol

Description: This was Cross' favorite weapon during his service in the Hapan Navy. He built it to have different power settings, from armor piercing shots that take up lots of power, to less powerful shots that can be fired for a while without draining the power cell. In lieu of a rifle, Cross modified the gun to have a way longer maximum range than a normal pistol. The trigger needs to be pulled or every shot, but it doesn't overheat with continuous fire or anything. It was pretty much the only ranged weapon Cross ever used, and he kept it quite safe during his 800-year stasis.

Technically, single action means you are required to recock the firing mechanism for every shot. The rate if fire you described is semiautomatic.

Also, the effective range for pistol weapons is generally around 25-50m as pinpoint long distance accuracy for one handed/pistol weapons is fairly low beyond that distance barring unusual exceptions. The optimum range is usually far longer.

Also, what armor would this be effectove against with the stated power settings?
