Critical Quandary

WIP-Korriban4.jpg

Location: Korriban, Valley of the Dark Lords
Objective: Investigate

There were always those missions given out that even the most elite of the elite soldiers were afraid to embark on. Unfortunately for the members of Strike Squad, they had been called to duty on the dark planet of Korriban, to investigate a mysterious individual that was seen about the barren wastelands, completely alone. Even though it sounded simply, the non force-users were obviously intimidated, knowing that chance of running into dark siders were high these days. And thus, Padawan Tugoro Taidarious was called in, arriving in the large hangar bay with a frown upon his face. Taking a glance over the drop ship they would be traveling in, the young teenager would simply shake his head from side to side, as if mocking the military men's cowardice. This earned the boy a few scornful looks, though they knew it was all fun and games. Figuring that it was time to leave, the young lad would climb into the craft, beckoning the team of nine to also file in.

The Republic drop ship's engines would roar into life, as it lifted off of the hangar's floor and out into the vacuum of space. They had already arrived above Korriban's orbit, in a Republic frigate that had been available. The craft would break through the atmosphere, quickly descending towards the planet's surface with much speed. The dark side was strong on the planet, Tugoro knew that all too well. He had faced one other Sith long ago, at the same location they were headed to at the moment. Having felt the dark side's pull several times during his career as a Padawan, Tugoro would begin to clear his mind, hoping to remain calm. The carrier would touch down on the ground, spraying dust and debris here and there as the engines died out. Wearing his Wraith Vapor Armor and a brown robe, the Jedi would hop out of the vessel, slowly walking towards the grand valley that was ahead. He had already discussed matters with the soldiers, they were to stay put and not intervene, for their own safety. The drop ship would look small to the boy as he turned and looked, having created a considerable amount of distance between each other. Turning into the valley, the soldier's sights on Tugoro would be lost completely, as the boy ventured forth, examining the grand tombs that loomed over him on each side. Someone was definitely here.

The Dark Side of the Force flowed both through and around her as she sat cross-legged on the cracked and litter strewn floor of an ancient ruined Temple long forgotten by the Sith and their sworn enemies, the Jedi and all those that opposed the Dark Side. She had discovered this ancient structure built into the side of a volcanic state mountain that was once inhabited by Tuk'ata, an infestation she had to clear out since claiming this building as her safe haven during her self-imposed exile, and now protected and haunted by the dreaded Hssiss, creatures she had broken and bent to her will. She had found the tranquility of the Dark Side here not just strong but somewhat soothing. It was no great secret that her views and opinions of both the Order and the laws of the Dark Side, no matter how wrong, twisted, and corrupted they had become by her fellow brothers and sisters of the Sith Order, conflicted with her superiors and those underlings that had allowed themselves to be "brain washed". True, she was a Sith Lady. True, she had both a strong command and affinity to the Force. But she was an individual first. She held her own self-preservation over any command or rules or laws that would put her in harms way unless she chose to dance with death.

So her she was deep in meditation when she began to feel the tremors in the Force. With a glittering smirk emerging on her face, she snapped open her eyes. It had been far to long since someone or a collection of someones had sought to disturb her. If one listened closely as they walked through the halls of the ruined Temple, one could still hear the screams from those individuals she turned to ghosts that too now inhabited this Temple. But unlike the mercenaries, treasure hunters, and those misguided dark side users seeking to unlock the secrets of the Sith that has come before this new annoyance; these were basic soldiers and a Force user that basked in the glory of the Light Side. Jedi!

Rising to her full height and smoothing out her robes, she casually pulled the hood of said robes until they rested comfortably upon her montails. She had much to do in preparation for this invasion of her privacy. With a slight of her hand she opened the doors via the Force and stepped into the dusty and dark corridors. Quickly she was greeted by her pets, mindless creatures she had spared from her wrath rather than simply slaughtering them, who served her faithfully but in truth were no more than walking corpses who served one purpose; to kill any and all who entered her sanctuary uninvited.

Placing a cold hand on the shoulder of the taller mercenary, she whispered into his mind that now belonged to the Darth Zarrah, Sith Lady and Sith Witch, "We have uninvited guests.....deal with them now." With her mindless horde rambling down the corridor to greet these guests, she walked in the opposite direction using her ability of Force Stealth to vanish in the Force.

The dark side energy that cascaded the now Republic world was surely powerful, and obviously present to the young Jedi's mind. As he walked, he could feel it pulling at his being, attempting to overwhelm and extinguish his light. Closing his eyes, young Tugoro would begin to inhale, calming his breathing as his mind also relaxed. His own presence in the force would begin to stretch outwards as he came to a halt, standing in the middle of the valley that surrounded him. Using the force energy that lingered all around, the Padawan would delve into a brief meditative trance, using his sensing power to feel out all lifeforms within several miles. He could feel the citizens far away, tending to their business in the villages, along with the team of soldiers he had left with the drop ship. However, one signature stood out in the force.

And it was now gone. Gritting his teeth in frustration, the young Jedi would kick off into a sprint, allowing the force to envelop his body and fuse into his lower limbs. They would move at an accelerated rate, causing Tugoro to shoot across the dry dirt as a blur to the untrained eye. He had only felt [member="Darth Zarrah"]'s presence briefly, but had gotten a good idea of where she was located. It was not too far away from the valley he was currently in, though not within it either. In the distance, Tugoro spotted a large mountain, that loomed even more than the dark lord's tombs. Even if he had left the intimidating location behind, the young Padawan could not help but still feel uneasy, as he skidded to a halt, spraying dirt, dust, and pebbles directly in front of him. There was a slight opening in the land form, that closed up and joined together to form the mountain's face. It didn't look like anything big would fit through, and thankfully Tugoro was small. Walking forward cautiously, the Padawan would follow the dirt trail that lead further along the rock corridor, until he arrived in front of a metallic durasteel door.

A hideout of sorts, it seemed. Whoever he had sensed earlier was definitely within, either hiding or awaiting Tugoro's arrival. Waving his hand through the air, the young Jedi would walk through the doorway as the two metallic plates slid to the side, granting him access to the ancient temple's interior. The dim lighting would only become dimmer as the doors shut behind him loudly, prompting the boy to quickly grasp one of his lightsabers. Gripping the shoto model firmly in his hand, Tugoro would press on, walking further down the dark hallway, until shambling foot steps were heard ahead. Coming to a stop, the Jedi would wait for the group to turn the corner, allowing him to examine their makeup. There was a tall looking mercenary, who did not look healthy in the slightest. On each of his sides, were two other armed individuals, that lifted the weapons in their hands in order to aim precisely. The volley of blaster bolts would surge through the air, causing brief flashes of light to illuminate the corridor. Instead of blocking the projectiles, the Padawan would kick off of the ground, moving his body to the side in a quick dodge that allowed the energy blasts to whiz through his afterimage.

Thinking he had gotten off Scott free, Tugoro would find himself rather surprised, as his keen eyesight picked up the materialization of a large Hssiss beast right beside him. It's large tail would swing through the air horizontally, hoping to bat the boy to the ground. However, with the use of his current momentum, Tugoro would leap up into the air, flipping briefly before placing his feet firmly against the wall, exerting the force through his limbs to let him stick briefly against the vertical surface. He had narrowly avoided the attack, the attack that had been far too coordinated for his liking. Someone was definitely expecting him, and wanted him out of the picture, apparently. Not wanting to waste even a second, the Jedi would push off from the wall, soaring through the air towards another one that was parallel to him. With his continued rebounding, Tugoro eventually put some distance between himself and the hostile group, who was still attempting to shoot him. Thanks to his new position, the enemies were lined up, the mercenaries being the closest while the Hssiss was furthest. Placing his palms against the ground, the boy would begin to exert his force energy, allowing it to flow and stream along the surface of the temple. Focusing on the light side energy within him, the Jedi would release it, allowing it to conduct along the floor in front of him. It would manifest into bright tendrils of emerald electricity, ones that would zap away the stamina of those it came into contact with. The mercenaries and Hssiss alike would fall victim, becoming rendered unconscious thanks to the Padawan's efforts. Breathing heavily, Tugoro would climb back onto his feet, feeling rather tired from the advanced technique he used. He had received limited training in it thanks to Alexandra, though he was still unable to hurl the bolts effectively.

Against his better judgement, Tugoro would continue to explore, walking further into the dark temple's depths.

Her presence masked in the Force she was now invisible to this intruder's prying and probing; but his eyes were not affected by this Force ability. She would rectify that situation promptly by now bending the light and sound waves around her rendering her invisible even to the most trained eye. But this Jedi had made a fatal error. Knowing that a Sith was here, cause why else would a Jedi seek to investigate these ruins, he had allowed himself to be scanned and no matter where he went or what ever powers he possessed to hide himself in the Force, Darth Zarrah could read and feel his stink throughout the Force. But to his credit, he was brave coming here. But bravery is the twin sister of ignorance; and both could lead to one's down fall.

Walking through the shadows atop the the holed infested second floor above this Jedi and her minions, she watched as this Jedi dealt with the situation as any Jedi would, with mercy and refraining from killing. How uninteresting this Jedi had become. She knew Jedi preached against killing but it was they that had the blood of murdered thousands on their hands. Their Code and their Jedi water-downed teachings prevented them from ever taking responsibility for their actions. Guardians of Justice. Guardians of Right and Wrong. Absurd!

The Jedi disappeared from her line-of-sight but she could still "see" him. A confrontation was inevitable but this Jedi did not need to die. Everyone touched by the Force, even Jedi, had the potential to bask in the Dark Side if they would simply shed the skin of lies and see the truth for themselves. And it was time this Jedi's seduction began. Slipping easily into his mind, breaking down any protective mental traps and safeguards he had up, she whispered directly into his mind. "Do you think by sparing them you have demonstrated strength? No, you have proven absolute weakness. Do you think they would have spared you if the roles were reversed? Of course not. Why is that?" Darth Zarrah implants a vision of his death at the hands of her minions in his mind then falls silent locking her mind from his.

Knowing he can not respond to her unless she chooses to allow this, she again whispers into his mind. "The Jedi have taught you that killing is wrong on any level.....then why do you fight wars? Why do you kill to protect the weak? Why do you kill to protect an Order riddled with fabrications and half-truths? Because the need for self-preservation outweighs the need to do otherwise. Yet, Jedi commits acts of self-sacrifice which is nothing more than an armoured shell to protect the truth that they were weak. Would you self-sacrifice yourself for a stranger? Do you think five...ten years from now those you sacrificed yourself for to save would remember you? Of course not...." Once more she implants a vision into his mind of a statue of himself unkempt and weather beaten covered with moss and graffiti. Silence.

Coming to the end of the corridor she halts and once more invades his mind bating away the wall he attempted to put up to keep her out. "Do you fear your own true potential? Do you fear knowledge? Do you fear power over those willing to seek you harm? Do you fear the truth? Do you fear failure without proper teaching? Of course you do. You are Jedi! Do you fear the Dark Side? Of course you do. You have been forced fed lies that the Dark Side is evil....twisted....and unnatural. Yet, you have never experienced the Dark Side for yourself. So your fears are born from the fears of others. Do you believe yourself to be unique....to be an individual? If you do, then you are even a bigger fool for that. Jedi are not individuals....Jedi are a lot born and torn from the same cloth. One mold....one Jedi! The day you swore an oath to uphold the Laws and Codes of the Jedi is the day you died and become an automaton. I seek to hear your responses....so enlighten me, Jedi."

Darth Zarrah remains in his mind, opening a telepathic link between them.

[member="Tugoro Taidarious"]

The light steps of Tugoor's booted feet would come to a halt, as he felt a strange shiver run up his spine. Quickly looking around the area, the young Padawan would try to ascertain any hostilities. Remaining in a composed stature, the Jedi would stand tall as he felt something through the force, something come towars him. [member="Darth Zarrah"]'s telepathic messages would hit his mind hard, her efforts at striking doubt in Tugoro's mind echoing loudly. He had been taught the power of telepathy, however he had never managed to learn or train any sort of mental defenses. With little effort, her own thoughts would into the Jedi's mind, causing him to stand still as he listened intently. He had been wary with his movements and senses, never letting his guard down while he traveled the temple halls. Even so, whoever was speaking to him had gone unnoticed, for Tugoro had no clue where they were. The youth's arms would remain relaxed as his side, his three lightsabers still hanging from his belt, for he wanted to hear what this Sith was saying.

And boy, did she have something to say! Even after flooding his mind with illusions, she would continue to speak, pointing out the faults of the Jedi Order, and with them the Republic. This angered the boy slightly, though he would manage to control his emotions and stance, his negative feelings slipping from his thoughts. Instead of resisting(as if he could), the boy would continue to listen, for she really did have a lot to say. Tugoro really did refrain from killing, even when on the battle field. He began to remember the many conflicts he had participated in, and the aura of death that surrounded it. Of course people died in a time of war, for the Jedi and Sith would never see eye to eye. At least, as a whole. As the forgotten statue flashed into his mind, Tugoro would shake his head from side to side, a little disgusted by this Sith's twisted thinking. Tugoro knew he was extremely prideful, and it was true that he had a massive ego, but surely he would never desire a statue in his honor. It would be sort of cool. Pushing his emotions out of the picture, the young Padawan would stay positive, reminding himself that everyone did their part in the war, and deserved equal respect. Even if he was better than them.

The first two attempts had been shrugged off easily by the boy's psyche, not being too effected by her words. Tugoro was simply a prideful boy in nature, having earned his place among the Wookiees years ago. The isolation from the outside world he had experienced gave him a rather naively bold attitude, along with ignorance towards most social norms. At first glance, the Padawan seemed pure and innocent, for he was in some aspects. Even so, the words that Zarrah spoke next to him really did send a shiver of fear along his being. Strangely enough, the Jedi had experienced the dark side in the past, though it was involuntary and thankfully warded off by his pureness. The fact of the matter was that it still lurked in him, for it had been inspired by a rage he had been lulled into. Those moments of brief power were truly glorious. It was unlike anything he had ever felt before, but it came at a price. Hatred, fear, and pain had surrounded him, things a Jedi were never supposed to give into. Despite his calm posture, Tugoro's breathing had sped up, having found himself rather nervous. His eyes would close as he once more purged his thoughts of all that tempted him, his breathing coming down to a steady pace. She wanted a response?

Don't hide, the youth's voice would ring out, the force carrying his thoughts along it's flow, and into the Togruta's mind. He would give her his response, but he'd rather know what he was dealing with first.

Darth Zarrah began to laugh in the boy's mind. She felt the waves of emotions course through him no matter how quickly he fought to suppress them. Her words were never meant to do nothing more than to make him remember. And the Dark Side he remembered. The visions she opened his eyes to were nothing more than haunting, parlor tricks of the mind. But his emotions reacted to those as well. This boy was in danger on two fronts. The doors to the turbolift opened and she stepped out, a mere twenty feet from the young Jedi. "I was never hiding young one. You and I have been journeying together for some time....you just now have come to the realization that you and I share a destiny. You have tasted the Dark Side...and you wish to taste it again. For all your Jedi training....for all your doubts of the Dark Side....and for all your misbegotten views of what your path truly lies have led you to me. You will be mine, Jedi. You just haven't allowed yourself to fully understand the magnitude of your life."

Darth Zarrah moves her hands out in front of her, palms out so he can she is not armed. Her mouth transforms into a maniacal smile revealing her sharp pointed and jagged Togruta teeth. "I am unarmed yet I'm a Sith Lady....would you strike me down extinguishing my dark light from the galaxy or would you spare me because your Jedi teaching has installed the belief that you do not kill your enemies or unarmed transgressors? Or do you see in me the faint glimpses of salvation and you wish to be my redeemer?" Darth Zarrah, palms still out, begins moving toward the young boy all the while still in possession of her haunting smile.

She stops ten feet from him, looking his body up and down. When she looks up one last time, she locks her gaze onto his. "You can feel my power and you know that it far exceeds yours. You are nothing more than a sun and I am the moon that eclipses it. I could have killed you without revealing myself to you....but that is not what I want. What I want is you! I do not wish to eradicate you from this world but instead offer you the opportunity to become something more. Something powerful. Something great. Something that is rightfully yours to have. You have felt the Dark Side....yet you turned from it because you feared it. There is nothing to fear from the Dark Side....it can become your most powerful ally if you simply embrace my desire to teach you. I will teach you that you are more than sum of all that you seek to learn...for it's not just the power that makes me a powerful Sith. It's the knowledge I possess...a power that you can learn by being my understudy...my student....my pupil....my Apprentice. A power, this knowledge, the Jedi keep from you"

She lowers her hands and turns her back on him closing her eyes. "What do you know of the Sith? What do you know of the Dark Side? Would you believe me if I told you that it was the Jedi that created the Sith Order? Would you believe me if I told you that it was the Jedi that started this war between us that has lasted for far to long? Do you think I have not lost friends to Jedi blades as you have lost friends to Sith blades? Do you think you and I are one in the same or do you truly believe we are different? We both want the same thing do we not....peace and an end to the war. Or do you think that this war is justified becase we Sith are branded evil....a word that has been twisted and misused over the years. Am I evil because I want to live my life free from the chains of restrictions or seek to better myself through understanding the true nature of the Force? Am I evil because I do kill those that seek to do the same to me? Am I evil incarnate because what I desire does not fit the Jedi belief system?"

She sighs turning around with a tear running down her left cheek.

[member="Tugoro Taidarious"]

The young boy's eyes would close slowly, as [member="Darth Zarrah"]'s telepathic laughter flooded into his mind. Taking a hold of his emotions, Tugoro would begin to calm himself, his breathing slowing as the many negative thoughts within his brain were swept away. He had to keep himself under control, that was definitely the main priority in this situation. Whoever this Sith was, was obviously skilled in manipulation of the worse kind, one's head. It was true that even the simplest words could set the Jedi off, though right now he found himself successfully struggling against his temper, already having found an answer for her first question. Tugoro did not wish to demonstrate his strength in sparing her underlings, he simply wanted to prove the control he had achieved over himself and the force. Even so, as his mind remembered her words and many events in the past, he found his point to be rather meaningless. It was true that the Jedi refrained from killing their enemies, though Tugoro had once lost himself in anger, and struck down a weaponless foe. Never again would he make that mistake.

Suddenly, the boy's train of thought would be broken, as two doors opened to reveal the Togruta standing upon a turbolift. Rotating on his heel, the young Jedi would turn to face the Sith Lord, as his eyes opened to examine her physique. She was definitely older than him, and judging by the absence of her force signature was also experienced too. Tugoro would begin to walk forwards, his arms staying still by his side as he did so. His fingers would not move in the slightest to his weapons, as he noted the fact that the female was unarmed. At least she wasn't attacking him, for the boy hated hitting girls. Ceasing his movement, the youth's eyes would widen briefly, as she spoke of the dark side and his dance with it's power. This was a surprise, for the Padawan really hadn't known what to expect from the Togruta, who he had pinned as an obviously powerful Sith. Despite the fact that most would be drawing their weapons at this point, Tugoro remained calm and level headed, in an attempt to resist her dark temptations. Her words were puzzling at first, though as she continued it became apparent to the youth that she wanted...Him?!

It was revolting to even think, though Tugoro knew that he could learn a lot from this woman. The things he could learn from the dark side would put him on an entirely different tier than all of his competition. It was a tempting offer, for the desire to surpass those around him was something that was constantly present within the boy's mind. Even so, the things he had been told and taught by the Jedi at the academy caused him to quickly sweep away desire he possessed, for he knew that the dark side was taboo, and eventually led to one's downfall. At least, that was what he had been taught from a very young age. Perhaps he could learn without embracing the dark side? Tugoro found himself pondering so many things, that they were hard to organize in his genius-like brain. Once again, the Padawan found himself controlling his breathing rate, for it had gotten rather erratic. It was not the close proximity that the duo shared that made him so uneasy, rather it was the strange truth that he found in some of her words. Upon watching her back turn to him, Tugoro's brow would furrow in curiosity, not exactly sure as to why she had taken such an action. Though, as her next words began to flood from her mouth and into his ears, it all became obvious. Was she...Sad?!

It was only a speculation, however, Tugoro would begin to think more deeply upon her words, his ears listening intently from everything she had to say, to the way she said it. Over the last few months, the young Padawan had faced many challenges, ones that allowed him to see the real nature of this war and the countless battles that were fought. He had come to the conclusion that perception was ultimately the enemy to blame, for many Acolytes and Padawans much like himself had been made into unquestioning pawns in the Jedi versus Sith conflict. Shaking his head lightly from side to side, Tugoro would close his eyes once more, exhaling loudly at the situation he found himself in. He just couldn't bring it upon himself to strike out or even belittle this woman, for he believed he could truly empathize with her. Stepping forwards once more, Tugoro sought to close the gap between the two, ceasing his movement when she turned around, revealing that he was right next to her now. All he had to do now was think of the right words to say, and hopefully formulate a sentence that didn't make him seem like an uneducated fool.

Looking up at the tear that streamed down the female's cheek, Tugoro's emerald eyes would beam as his mouth opened to give his response, "Our experiences are similar, but our views are different," he began, speaking slowly and even pausing here and there to think of the next thing to say. He hated using galactic basic. "Granted, not as different as most think," he continued, seriously comparing the Jedi and Sith in his head. The Sith had been responsible for a lot of terrible things in this war, prompting the youth to hold anger towards them. However, not all Sith were alike, for every individual differed, be they Jedi or Sith. "You're not 'evil', and I'm not 'good,' per say," Tugoro would pause, his gaze unwavering as his arm lifted, in hopes to wipe the tear from the female's face. If he was a sucker for one thing, it was a sad, misunderstood girl. "You're different from most Sith, that's obvious," he would conclude, smiling slightly. Despite the fact that he could be easily struck down, Tugoro found himself wondering if he could possibly make friends with this woman, and learn more of the Sith through her. Even so, the very thought was risky, for the young Jedi did not want to fall to the dark side.

"You are brave young one to step so close into the web of a black widow but you have nothing to fear for me. You are not my prey and I am not your predator. You and I are different but we both have one common enemy....this war! It is nothing more than an abomination and like all cruel inventions of the mind, it's head must be severed," Darth Zarrah says taking the young boy's hands into her own. She had thought for a second how quickly she could have ended this foolish Jedi boy but to what end would that serve? She had killed many Jedi and non-Force users but not because she wanted to demonstrate her power over them or pointe their failures to them. No, she killed them to protect herself. That has always been her mantra from the time she took up residence with the Sith Order. Times were changing. Was she as well?

"The Sith Order may not be as it once was...or that it may be weak, only strong in the mind of those that are to ignorant to think for themselves...letting their eyes see illusions of superiority where none exist. Letting their hearts feed off the hatred for those that have sent the Order into a downward spiral...yet to weak to cut their own heart from themselves when it is they that have failed the Order and sent it to tatters. Perhaps the Sith should be eradicated but if that was to occur...where would that leave the Jedi, boy?" Darth Zarrah releases his hands from her and takes a step back.

"The Jedi would always have enemies would they not? If not the Sith someone else...someone they can not understand....someone they will never see striking from the shadows...someone more willing to sacrifice their lives like the Mandos or willing to sacrifice more lives of its citizens like the Chiss...or the Hutts? No, the Jedi need the Sith to survive just as they Sith need the Jedi. Without one or the other....both would be incomplete! And both are to mindless to realize this. Someone....or a collection of someones....or perhaps only two someones need to put a stop to this war. Balance...that is what we need....that is what I crave....and that is what I can teach you."

Again she turns around placing her back to him adding, "What if you could learn the ways of the Dark Side without the threat of the Great Fall? You know the concept of Electric Judgment....where do you think that was learned? Where do you think Jedi Master Plo Koon learned it? What about Jacen Solo...who did fall and became Darth Cadeus, a Sith Lord that wanted true peace? What if you could learn to reach your full potential without...how should I put it...any of the bad perks?"

The fact that this situation could potentially turn violent excited Tugoro, for danger was something that always fascinated him. It was true that he loved the rush of combat and showing off his skills, however he truly did try to refrain from unneeded violence most of the times. Listening to [member="Darth Zarrah"]'s words, the youth could not help but smirk briefly, upon hearing the female call him brave. It seemed to be a reoccurring title that women branded him with, and he certainly did not mind. It was true that the ark side was something he feared, however he did not see this Togruta as the dark side, simply as someone who was probably driven to it. Unfortunate as it sounded, it was a sad truth in the galaxy, for the amount of individuals who harnessed the dark side was growing by every day. Tugoro looked to be rather calm as he stood next to the Sith Lord, continuing to listen to what she had to say, nodding at her comment about the war. It was an undeniable fact that the battles that raged on caused harm to both sides, innocent and guilty alike.

Looking along his sleeved arms, the Padawan would notice that Zarrah had taken his palms into her own, holding them gently as she spoke. The boy allowed her to do so, not seeing the harm in it for she did not possess any hostile intent. However, he knew that that could change in an instant, and it truly did excite the boy. Tugoro wondered what type of power she possessed, for the Togruta seemed so confident. The young boy would listen to her words intently, pondering her opinions on the Sith and Jedi. Tugoro's arms would relax and lower to his sides, as the Darth released his hands, continuing to speak afterwards. It was true that the Jedi and Sith were basically counterparts, though a few other enemies sprang to mind when the topic was brought up. Like the Yuuzhan Vong, for they had provided several challenges in the past. The youth's brow would furrow, as she speculated that two individuals would be fit to stop the war. Was that truly possible?

Watching her turn around, the young Jedi could only wonder why she had done so again. Was she crying again? The thoughts would be swept from his mind, as her questions filled it, tempting and seducing him with such offers of power. What was it she spoke of? "What do you mean?" He asked curiously.

"The Sith...no longer have any meaning for me. They have shown countless times that they have falling from the path of True Sith. I find it difficult to associate myself with such....filth. Truth be told....the Sith Order are need of cleansing...perhaps another culling such as Darth Bane had done? The Rule of Two insured the survival of the Sith teachings...not the Sith itself. But with the fall of Darth Sidious....the Sith have never been Sith....only puppets without a Master to pull their strings. And the Jedi....heros of the galaxy...champions of righteousness....have failed to do this for me," she says looking into the eyes of the young Jedi. She sees that his mouth is about to open and she waves his next words away to address his question now. "I did not fall to the Dark Side...I sought it out for its knowledge...for its power. I did not join the Sith to be a ruler or a conqueror or a murderer. I joined them because they had what I wanted....plain and simple. My former Master taught me everything he knew and I rewarded him by driving my blades through his cold and merciless heart. I did not kill him because it is the Sith way....I killed him because he was evil. But I also sought to understand the Light Side of the Force. One cannot be complete if they refuse to understand both aspects of what the Force is."

She once again takes the boy's hands in hers finally getting to the pointe of all this. "One can learn to wield both Dark Side and Light Side powers if one is willing to understand themselves. Know your limitations....know your inner self and strength....and know your will better than any and you can master the Dark Side without truly falling. But do not make the same mistakes I did....you are to brave for that....I on the other hand gave myself over completely and do I regret this? No! I'm a daughter of the Dark Side because we, the Dark Side and I, work together to protect my survival. Am I Sith? Once...I believed that. Am I a Sith Lord? Once...I thought that. Now...I'm just living out the remainder of my life as I see fit. I...I believe there is much we can learn from one another. I can show you the ways of the Dark Side and how to mask its presence from your fellow Jedi....and in return....you can enlighten me about the ways of the Light Side."

Releasing his hands yet again, she steps back, pulls the folds of her robes aside revealing the two hilts attached to her waist belt. "Unless of course you wish to continue this age old war between Light and Dark...."
