Crisis on Ithor [Republic]

Vexander decided to let the subject go, afterall, he saw the need to kill depending the situation at hand... what he was worried about was the feeling fueling the kill... Although the politician was not a Jedi, the young man knew that the darkside could lure anyone regardless of their training and their connection to the Force, it just pulled them in different ways.



Before he could go back to the fight... he realized that it was too late as a new Jedi joined the fight, but the view that the young corellian padawan witnessed actually shocked him. As a member of the military he has seen battle, as a member of the Order he has seen others being cut by a lightsaber... but he has never seen such carnage that close... the bloodshed practically left him with his jaw in the ground... he carried on with what was practically a slaughter for Vex without hearing the words a new female Jedi said to him...



Finally, the man heeded the words of @[member="Daella Apparine"] and decided to stay behind guarding the shuttle while the rest of the team went further into the cave. Nevertheless, the damage was done and Vex doubted for a second if he was needed to carry on with the mission since all the cultists seemed dead... still, he just remained there for a second looking at the remaning Jedi... and then followed Daella.


The bodies of those killed by the Jedi Knight @[member="Tracyn Ordo"] were lying there... motionless... and while Vex looked at the darksiders, he approached one of them and took his lightsaber and clipped on his belt while he pondered for a moment at what he had just seen... at the display of power and use of the Force of a Jedi Knight.


In almost a jump, he stood up determined to finish the mission as soon as possible and followed the Jedi Knight who lighted the caves closely with the yellow blade... having his own training saber ready to what could come up against them in the darkness.

Arumi exited the shuttle after have been distracted by only the force knows what, he walked past the carnage and looked at the young padawan " Death is a part of life, fear it not and do not fear sending those to the living force" he said as he jolted away with force enhanced speed intent on catching up with his comrades in arms.

After seeing @[member="Vexander Graves"] and @[member="Arumi Zy"] among others continue into to the cave with her, Daella turned back around and continued further into the caves. Eventually, the rumbling of voices from deeper within ceased.

Then, Daella walked into a massive, cavernous part of the caves. A small ziggurat of a couple stories stood before Daella. A light poured out from the entrance into the temple. A massive Ithorian stood at the threshold.

Bellowing out with his voice, the Ithorian said in his native language, "Do you fools even know what you have done?"

Yusan walked up beside @[member="Daella Apparine"] and shouted back at the Ithorian. "Oh please, do explain what weve done. Way i see it is we massacred your cultists and your next on the list. So how do you prefer to die, beheading? Chocked to death? Crushed?" Yusan was joking of course, or rather mostly joking, his saber remained lit as he scanned the cave around him for hostiles and other dangers that might present themselves. @[member="Arumi Zy"] @[member="Vexander Graves"]

Vexander raised his eyebrow as the ithorian commented on "what they have done". It was really curious for the young man to hear the ithorian language... nevertheless, what caught his attention the most was the sentence implying that they did something wrong out of ignorance.

The leader of the cult would try to deceive them, that was the way of the darksiders and those who dwelled in darkness. However, no Jedi could ignore a chance to arrest and to open dialogue... a diplomatic solution...

The corellian frowned, diplomacy ended when they destroyed an entire city just to take down the strike team, the diplomacy ended when they continously resisted arrest... taking the deep breath, Vex remembered what he said just a few minutes before: he had to bring justice in a more pacific way.

Knowing that @[member="Yusan Fenn"] already asked for explanations, he decided to remind quiet, close to @[member="Daella Apparine"] but with is lightsaber ready. Ready to engage if needed and to bring the ithorian down.
