The Chemist in him had done due diligence in research on a topic most profitable. The rich properties of crystals had been used for ages in the past, crafting many things that some would consider to be unnatural. They had been crushed into powders, synthesized and altered by alchemist magic, forged in the heat of a thousand suns, and imbued or focused with pure energy. Amaul however saw a more natural design in their construction that would undoubtedly make him an even more secure figure in not only the red light sector of the smuggler's moon, but a singular name on tip of any who dealt or desired spice in all flavors of the criminal rainbow. The first order of business was some good old fashioned trial and error - and for that he would need specific product. Among his many outlets and resources, the half-breed had reached out his influence and touched upon an alliance of smugglers for hire. The crew had been formed and word had been sent when they began, and recently when they had finished their dealings to bring the product into his keeping.

Captain Jace Trent; a man of many talents as it was known of him. His distinguished service record in the service of the Republic had caught the emerald eyes of Amaul, who while he had no love for the Republic, saw opportunity in any and every form. If this Captain could deliever the goods and bring them promptly through to Shaddaa, then he might just have more work for the Defiance's four-striper. Word had been sent to Jace and his crew, welcoming any or all of them to one of his private estates on Shaddaa, for the reward of their labor, and to see what kind of crew he had put together for the job on Ryloth. This was not an easy thing to accomplish, as he knew well the dangers of the world, and as well the perilous journey through CIS space to get to his little slice of sin.

The current estate to which the crew had instructions to meet was a far cry from the normal underground ramparts that littered the several properties that Blitz held in his sway. This one reached upwards in the vertical city where a single landing pad outside was controlled by a sizable fortune to interested Hutt parties. He dealt with the rotund slugs out of necessity, and sometimes curiosity, but rarely did he do so directly. The alcove inside led to a circular and dome topped den to which he had a smaller operation of his overall plan. Twin guards stood adjacent the large durasteel blast door that currently lay closed. Each guard armed with a heavy repeater held cross-breast, while surveying the area with tireless resolve.
