Crazy meets Crazy

Ah, Coruscant. Sadrion breathed in the city's air as he wandered along its many streets and paths. Unlike most of the time he visited a planet, he wasn't looking for some ancient artifact or holocron this time. No, he figured he'd at least take a break for at least a week or so. Xardus had constantly been nagging in the back of his head about it anyway, so he figured it was the only way to shut the brat up. Besides, he was getting all the more stronger by the day, and Sadrion was concerned he would soon be strong enough to regain control of his body. Of course, it was only a matter of time, but he rather enjoyed controlling the young man's body and essence. The sheer power the former jedi had was unbelievable. Sadrion had only added to it by putting in all of his anger and suffering that had gathered over the years. In truth, Sadrion was but a symbiote to Xardus- giving him power, but in exchange for utter control. It was a rather fair deal, not that the other even had a choice in the matter. He smiled as he thought of all this, the prospect of it appealing to him. Cocking his head slightly, he heard a noise in the distance. Children having fun. Looking across the street, he noticed a small fair in a park, just recently opened for the little ones in the community. He decided to walk over and give it a look.

"Permission Granted."

The comms chirped as fingers tapped through the control console that piloted a shuttlecraft entering the atmosphere of the Coruscant. Several bleeps were exchanged and channels were redirected to the rear of a passenger cabin. The pilot switched to a view screen that projected a holograph to those within. The room was dimmed and an index finger from a hand slid across of side panel receiving a voice from the cockpit.

"We have arrived at our destination. Plotting course to designated Platform 21. Estimate time of arrival, five minutes."

The shuttle glided in the course of the clouds meeting the vast view of the metropolis beyond. It pivoted to the east and descended through the plethora of sky vehicles exchanging directions through the congested traffic that was Coruscant. At the final roundabout the shuttle veered west onto the platform meant for it to be registered to. The platform engineers and customs agents paced across a connecting bridge, watching as the shuttle made its descend. The hissing of the turbines exhausted and the shuttle pivoted itself to a land.

After a few moments, it disengaged its locks and a ramp extended downward onto the platform. A slide door slowly rose as black boots walked upon its surface. Another hiss broke from the shuttle and white smoke emerged from its thrusters which seemed oddly damaged. The whining of the engines dissipated and the engineers came forward to attend the craft’s reduced conditions.

The smokescreen eventually cleared over a man standing in light armour and a grey cowl that was gently removed.

She trailed behind her father waving a hand over her face in utter annoyance. The whole trip to this planet was a huge mistake and quite frankly it was the last place she wanted to visit again after the last episode at a local cantina nearby. She dusted herself off and walked off the ramp standing next to her father with crossed arms of disappointment,” We just got here and now I have the urge to leave. This place is very boring. Did I really have to come here at all,” she grumbled.

She wore a full black spandex zipped up to a tight collar and long boots with belted buckles that tied around her shins. Around her waist was a utility belt with a clipped custom lightsaber. Her hair dangled freely in the wind and a pair of goggles was placed on her head to hold her hair away from her face,” Why are we even here again?”

Making his way into the fairgrounds, Sadrion looked around him, taking the scene in. It was a place of joy, a place of laughter. Laughter. He flinched as a memory suddenly came to mind, one of Xardus's memories. He was barely five, and he was playing with his father in the temple courtyard on Tython. A touching memory, surely, but it only made him cringe to think about it. Sharing your head with someone else was definitely not fun.

He muted her out of his thoughts and looked ahead at the extended bridge before him. He walked once more approaching the slide door that overlooked a tall cluster of structures and lights. The entrance was dim with blue neon stripped lining that stretched through the corridor. It led past a few side doors with view windows with seated people and aliens awaiting their transports. The only ones that set themselves apart from the group were the uniformed ones that carried their daily duties throughout the docking station. The corridor continued on till he met with another side door. A custom agent appeared onscreen requesting him to verify his identity to register him into the global system. The screen switched to a hand allowing him to place his own into a slot below it. After a few moments of scanning and uploading, the screen blink into a cyan colour triggering the door into front of him to slide open. He continued through without a word.

She was completely dismissed as usual. Nothing that ever came out of her mouth was ever important to him, but regardless of this she followed him ever so faithfully, if that was even the right word to coat the situation. Along the corridor she peeked through the windows watching those that gathered who sat in waiting. The lights in the corridor tensed her eyesight giving her a slight headache from the irritability. As her pursuit ended she was met by a door that required the new arrivals to be scanned for registry. More like nosy she thought. She watched as her father placed his hand into the machine and crossed her arms impatiently tapping her right boot. The door eventually opened and she watched him walk out rather nonchalantly. She rolled her eyes before placing her hand in the slot herself, "Welcome, Genesis Andromeda Talus," the odd automated voice chirped at her, "Sure why not tell everyone here who I am," she bit back at the machine. She adjusted her top before exiting through the door, mocking her father's trot behind him.

Memories pleasing to the soul-Xardus's soul, that is-continued to flood his mind. Sadrion looked around himself in anguish one last time before finally deciding it was time to go. He needed either a good conflict or peacefulness to ease himself. Seeing a perfect opportunity, he chose conflict. Next to the park was yet another attraction- a magic show, with more than a few spectators watching the magician. He was fairly good at his art, but not good enough to match what the other had planned. Letting a ball of lighting crackle in his hand, he gave it time to grow to the size of his fist before hurling it at the stage. Upon impact, everyone in the near vicinity began screaming and running from the scene. The upper part of the stage began to wobble, the magician right under it was frozen in shock and terror. A thin smile ran across Sadrion's face.

The city was amass of people all around. Lights fluttered and streams of glows flashed overhead as traffic congested in Coruscant's streets. Before him a transport had just arrived expecting his arrival. The door slid open and Judas stepped inside the vehicle operated by a protocol android. It wasn't till his attention was diverted by a disturbance of the Force. A nearby crowd had emerged from around a corner alarmed by a mishap that was yet to be seen. The shifter exited the vehicle and looked in the direction of the disturbance, motioning Genesis to stop. He narrowed his eyes and tapped into the Force to scan the area for any lingering Force signatures. It wasn't too long that he had discovered a glowing aura within a playground nearby. This signature wanted to be found he thought to himself. He looked back to Genesis and nodded before resuming in the direction of the signature as his drape waved behind him gracefully.

She continued to follow behind her ignorant father," Will I ever know anything that you are doing without having to figur-...," she stopped in mid sentence as an explosion of people ran in discord on her right. Her father came out once more from the transport he had entered on the side of the street. She turned to him about to ask when suddenly he had motioned her to be silent. She watched in curiosity as he looked around the area the crowd came from. After a brief moment she was given an okay to follow him. She reluctantly followed behind him looking around cautiously.

Not minutes later, it seemed Sadrion's rupture of the silence had paid off. Two force signatures, one glowing much brighter than the other, we're making their way toward him. A flash of amusemt passed over him as he noticed the larger one to have a dark aura. Interesting indeed. He would be in the fight of a lifetime. Slipping his mask on, he took his lightsaber from his belt and waited for the two to appear. What went through his mind at this point was somewhat of a riddle. He felt fluctuating feelings of fear and confidence, both just as strong as the other. "Xardus", he snarled to nobody but the neighboring soul within. "Knock it off."

He arrived into a clearing meeting faces with a lone cloaked man on a playground twenty yards ahead of him. He gave a neutral stance and side glanced Genesis; assuming she would stand next to him once she caught sight of the Force signature as well.

"Is there a purpose to the assault of these people?"

Great another one of those friends daddy used to hang with it she thought. She stood to her father's right side and rested a hand to her lightsaber lightly. The hooded darksider was pretty close to them both now, but she kept her wits about her as her father spoke. What was it with these Sith and causing havoc for no reason at all. You'd think they'd stay scarce in this city if they were alone. Still, she stood there wondering when the 'cops' would show up. She couldn't resist the urge that something was about to happen in this desolate place.

"Well, it's about time." Turning around, he faced the two force signatures, a smile forming under his mask. Looking at his weapon for a few seconds, he eventually addressed the two. "I'm just interested in a little chaos, that's all. Now maybe..." He ignited the yellow blade, it humming softly. "...You could help me with that."

Judas held up a hand to signal Genesis to stand down.

"Is there a reason why this chaos must ensue? You do realise you are in Coruscant? It won't take long for the authorities to be informed of this incident."

Genesis was ready for some action, until she saw the hand come up. "Oh daddy let me show you what I can do already," she whined in hopes that Judas might let her draw her eager light saber. Although she obeyed her fathers orders, she was not ready to test him yet, so she stayed back as his gesture had directed.

Sadrion could only help but chuckle at the girl's words. "Yes, by all means let her show you what she's learned. Or perhaps you would be inclined to join me in a duel. Either way is fine with me. And as for why? The same question goes to why someone would go on a vacation. I'm simply bored and in need of entertainment."

Judas approached Sadrion calmly and continued to speak in a neutral manner.

"If you are bored and need something to do then perhaps instead of unnecessary havoc you could be given something more productive and worthwhile? It would be foolish to waste such exceptional skill and energy in this city."

He looked to his blade.

"Did you construct that blade yourself?"

Son of a Bantha she thought. Who did he think he was challenging her father. She scowled at Sadrion wanting to knock the daylights out of him. Cocky much, she thought to herself, trying to refrain herself from going in head strong. She tried waiting patiently behind Judas. Her left eye began to twitch and then her lips. Genesis gritted her teeth with a low growl escaping her breath. She wanted to let out a scream but she contained herself as much as she could for the sake of her father. Her hand now gripped tightly on her light saber and her fingers turned white as the blood rushed away from them. She snarled in the direction of Sadrion as she waited from something exciting to happen instead of this chit chat.

The question was an odd one, but it amused Sadrion nonetheless. Looking at the weapon in his hand, he nodded. "Yes, this is of my own design. The crystal was also crafted by myself, with the help of another. Why do you ask?" Through his mask, he golden eyes flared in curiosity of the girl. She was indeed something special, having an idea that she could take him down alone. He could feel the expanse of anger and anticipation welling up in her.

A maintained a passive demeanor.

"You are able to craft your own blade?"

He nodded and gestured with his hands as he spoke.

"Why are you bored? Perhaps something troubles you? Is there a distraction in your life?"
