For all intents and purposes, the Covenant-model lightsaber is a standard lightsaber, found anywhere in the galaxy. These, however, were personally designed and crafted by Voph as a mark of office for officers and commanders in the Octarchy Covenant. They followed basic assembly conventions, being little more than a simple durasteel tube. They featured engravings along the hilts, and an engraving of Octarchy's symbol around the activation button. The containment field around the blade was altered to result in a thinner blade, which paired with the hand and a half length of the hilt resulted in a prime dueling weapon. Although it is a fully functional lightsaber, it is not intended to replace or override the wielder's weapon or style of choice. It serves more as a symbol of the rank held within the Covenant.
