Strengths: Comfortable- The Courier class Shuttle is a ship designed for comfort. The comfortable seating and holofilm screens mean that those taking the shuttle remain at ease. The addition of a kitchenette also means that warm meals are able to be provided on longer trips, which further increases the comforts the shuttle offers.
Weaknesses: Civilians- The Courier class Shuttle is a ship designed for civilians. It was designed more for comfort and speed than it was for defending itself if combat breaks out. A single laser turret mounted on the dorsal side of the ship and a pairing of an ion and deflector shield provide the illusion of being to handle a fight more than any actual ability to do so. Its best defense is its speed and maneuverability to flee, if they are even given the chance to.

Description: Shuttles are a valuable part of the galaxy. They are what allows the common folk to move from system to system as well as allow people to move from ship to ship or planet. As important as these types of ships are, there is a lack of shuttles on the market designed for civilian needs. Ashhearth Industries did as they always do and decided to capitalize on this demand. They looked at the designs that already existed and eventually came up with the Courier class Shuttle.

The Courier class Shuttle is built out of an alusteel frame with a reinforced alusteel hull. The space between the two is filled with starship parts and electronic components. A single barrel laser turret was added to the dorsal side of the ship that must be manned to be used. It was designed to pop up with the gunner when in use to that it can move to shoot. A pair of shields, one ion and one deflector, was added for some environmental protection to the ship as well as some added defense against hostile ships. The last bit was a kitchenette built in between the cockpit and the passenger area of the ship to allow for meals during trips.

After the basic structure of the ship was finished, the main features of the ship were then added. Seats made from comfortable sullust leather and trauma resistant foam. This means they are comfortable as well as durable to prolonged use. Holofilm screens were set up all along the passenger area so that films can be played for the passengers' enjoyment. A communication system and holo projector were added to the cockpit to allow for communication outside of the shuttle. A distress beacon was placed in as well in case of the shuttle ever becoming derelict or forced to make an emergency landing. Med kits and survival kits were placed under every seat, in the kitchenette area, and in the cockpit.
