SPECIAL FEATURES
N/A
Strengths:
  • Private Meetings: Like its predecessor, the Council diplomatic transport has a salon pod, but slightly larger. This salon pod is heavily armored, self-reliant, and can eject from the Council if needed. It is an idea location for direct negotiations.
  • Diplomatic Immunity: Due to the Council usually being painted red and carrying Senators, it is immune to harm with its political status.
Weaknesses:
  • Totally not a Battleship: The Council is simply not suited for any sort of combat. It has very minimal weapons, and its shielding and armor cannot hold up to very much attacks.
Description: Based off an almost two thousand year old design, the Council is designed to be a completely diplomatic craft. It is about 75 meters longer than its predecessor, and has a greater passenger capacity (24 compared to 16 passengers) while only increasing optimal crew members by 1.

The Council can hold about 1,400 metric tons of cargo, 400 more than the Consular. It has four escape pods with a ten person capacity to ensure that all crew members and passengers escape. Its salon pod can hold up to 23 people. The pod has its own systems, from life support to engines. The center of the pod is a circular table, and it is surrounded by a circular couch.

Being a diplomatic ship and not a warship, the Council is lightly armed. The Council relies on its diplomatic immunity to deal with enemies. If that doesn't work, its escape pods can fit the full crew and passenger capacity, extra room.
