Cosmic Complications

Location: Space over Ossus
Objective: Patrol
Having just returned from an extended leave, Tugoro was glad to be with the Galactic Republic again. Though, he still remembered why he had felt the need to get away in the first place. He wasn't particularly fond of rules and taking orders, and so was a bit disgruntled as he hovered nearby the atmosphere of Ossus, just out of range of it's gravitational pull. However, when he really paused to think about the bigger picture over the blaring base of his sound system, Tugoro knew that being with the Jedi was the place for him. It didn't matter if he had been told to patrol and protect the space over Ossus, all that mattered was that he was piloting his gem of a fighter, and that he was doing service for the Republic.

Then again, it was getting pretty boring up here. The teen had been at it for hours by now, simply listening to music and monitoring his sensors once in awhile. Nothing unusual had shown up at all. At least, that's what he thought. If Tugoro wanted to, he could probably sneak onto Nar Shaddaa. There was always trouble brewing there, and the hidden Enclave was the perfect hideout. On the other hand, the Jedi did not really want to make a bad impression. He had just returned after all, and the Jedi Order was probably run by a lot of different people by now. The music that surrounded the boy would suddenly shut off, as a bleep on his ship's radar made itself apparent. Well, this complicated his relaxing time, for something was actually happening. Something was actually coming this way! Though, given events in the past, it most likely was not a good thing. Either way, it would be exciting, and Tugoro was not one to back down from some action.

A ship, Corvette by size, dropped out of hyperspace at a safe distance, making it's approach relatively quickly and surely.

This was.. probably Ossus. If her navi-computer was right. It often wasn't, considering the information on it had been taken from ships of varying degrees of dereliction and from varying ages. But there was a very good chance that it was and that was good enough for Siavha!

Ossus was the site of a grand and tragic romance. The story of Shaela Nuur, Duron Qel-Droma and Guun Han Saresh. It was one of her very favourites, though it could have done with more spaceships. Still, she'd watched the battered old holo-drama rendition of the tale she and her mother had found on one of the many ships they'd picked over until not even all her skills could keep it working. Which was a shame, but by then she pretty much knew it line for line anyway. That she was looking through her viewport at the very same world the final act had taken place on, at ground they'd stood on and an atmosphere they'd breathed! It was just really, really exciting okay?

She was so wrapped up in imagining the epic tale, possibly replacing the curly haired blonde with a fetching orange Twi'lek, much like herself only, y'know, taller and more protruding in certain areas for the sake of theatre, that it didn't really occur to her to wonder about the state of Ossus today. And, as a not entirely random example, what they might think of a ship with no registration and no recognizeable make or model which would not respond to hailing.

You never responded to comm signals. That was a basic. Not at home anyway, and she'd not been here long enough to unlearn any old habits. She was doing pretty well about ignoring the other ships in the air, beyond appraising them for useful parts, but that was about the extent of her adaptation.

Imagine thinking that any air space was off limits! Quite frankly she couldn't, and didn't. You might have to run sometimes, but you could always come back later.

Gazing out the view port of his starfighter eagerly, Tugoro would await the arrival of whatever had plotted a course for Ossus. Pressing a robotic fingertip down onto a single button, the young Jedi would would begin to examine his sensors once more, wondering when the craft would arrive.

The youth's attention was once more drawn to the vast vacuum of darkness before him, his emerald eyes scanning over the expansive space before him as his systems indicated their guest's arrival. Placing a hand on the throttle, Tugoro would ease the Aleph forward through space, causing it to move at a decent rate despite not being at full speed. The boy could tell that this ship was big, but there was something off about it for some reason, and he just couldn't tell why... That was, until he got close enough to actually examine the ship thoroughly with his eyes.

It looked like a hunk of junk! Just barely stifling his laughter, the Jedi would attempt to open up a comm channel with the corvette, but doubted it would respond. These types of starships were usually piloted by pirates and mercenaries alike, the kind of people not welcome in Republic space. Pressing down on the throttle even further, Tugoro lean back in his seat as the Sith Imperial designed fighter of his shot through space, advancing quickly on [member="Siavha"]'s position. Even though his ship was of Sith design, it's ID broadcast was clearly of Republic origin. Taking in a deep breath in hopes of calming himself, Tugoro would begin to speak into his headset, attempting to make contact with the corvette.

"Unidentified..." He would begin, pausing as he thought of the right words to use. He just couldn't bring himself to call it a spacecraft, for it truly looked like a deathtrap. Snickering a bit under his breath, the boy hoped that no one heard him over his headset. Clearing his throat and regaining his composure, Tugoro would speak once more, "Unidentified spacecraft, you've entered Republic space. Uh... State your purpose." He concluded, frowning a bit at how awkward he sounded. He still hadn't quite gotten the hang of space lingo, let alone galactic basic. Aligning his fighter with the corvette ahead, the Jedi made sure he had a shot if one had to be taken, for whoever was on board had yet to identify themselves.
