It's just as near-instantaneous as the Holonet when it comes to communication providing a free flow of information exchange between worlds. It vastly helps speed up galactic communications.

DESCRIPTION
Cosmis is an online platform that allows users to build social networks/relationships with other people who share similar personal or career interests, activities, backgrounds or real-life connections. Operating on mobile and stationary devices similar to how the Holonet is accessed, it allows users to share ideas, holographic photos and videos, posts, and to inform others about online or galaxy-wide activities and events with those in their network. Available for free via an app, prospective users are able to create a free, customizable profile, and then are able to interact by following each other, topics, tags and sharing content via small elements such as short sentences, individual images, or video links. These messages are publicly visible by default, but can be restricted to deliver to a users group of followers. Users can mute users they do not wish to interact with and block accounts from viewing their tweets.
Cosmi is where you go to see what’s happening everywhere in the world right now. From breaking news, entertainment and politics to big events and everyday interests. it's allows the the public to know what the people around them are thinking and doing and feeling.
RATIONALE
Initially founded by a group of tech enthusiasts and developers, Bilquis who studied communications in the field was brought in to help lead the group as CEO in its infancy stages, being suggested by the private investor group that rounded out initial rounds of capital. She helped the group develop the first Cosmi prototype, and was the one who led the formation of the newly formed corporation, under the same name, that acquired the initial company and its assets along with it the outgoing stakes. Since then, Cosmi has spun off on its own. Bilquis has since, spearheaded and provided insight through the period that was its early phases and has been leading the group as CEO since, looking for ways to roll out updates and provide different avenues of communication in relation to the Holonet.
