Skorov learned many things within the Nether. It was an ever shifting, changing, warping realm of the force capable of being shaped in small ways. Homunculii is what he called them, his experiments in creating life from the force to serve his well. Each Homunculus served a different role, and most proved useless, dying too quickly to be of much use. But, the Corvidii proved useful. Spies and distractions, something he could always use.
As he moved out from the Nether back to the real world, it proved to be more difficult to form them. Yet, he still could with effort. He soon perfected his methods, and his spies continue to provide information to help him dominate.
