Corruptable Minds (Krest)

Luminara stood, holding her stomach still. "Isn't it funny? I can do so much already, but the way of the sword still eludes me." As she said this, she made a ball of lighting, letting it hover above her hand. She smirked. "If you are willing to teach me,i am willing to learn. If you're just here to kill me, well, I don't really have a choice in the matter, do I?"
[member="Krest"]

"No, I will not kill you. I will, however, make you obedient." He held Deus up with one hand, simply staring at [member="Luminara Rikanati"] . His eyes would be devoid of anything, no emotion, no hint on what he would do next. Just a cold blue gaze. His other hand would be near his side, pointed at the ground beneath him. Yes, he would teach Rikanati obedience first.

Luminara could feel the emotion drain from the aura around him. Something told her that this was not going to feel good. She became serious. "What is your will, my master?" She said solemnly, bowing to him. She knew that in order to learn anything from this galaxy, she had to save the fun and games for another time.
[member="Darth Ferus"]

Darth Ferus watches [member="Luminara Rikanati"] quietly for a moment. He still holds Deus in a light grip, but he finally speaks, his voice much quieter then before. "You shall continue with what you were doing. This is a test now. To see how strong you truly are."

Luminara nods once. "Where would you like me to start, Master?" She asked, a hint of eagerness in her voice. When it came to showing off her abilities, she couldn't get enough of it.
[member="Darth Ferus"]

Luminara bowed her head in a slow, single nod. She channeled her Force energy, summoning lightning into her hands. From her hands, she sent the lightning in all directions, billowing outwards like a massive wave of electricity. It was a sight to behold.

The Zabrak nodded slowly, then beckoned her over with a wave of a hand. "I meant in battle. Come at me like I'm going to kill you." Darth Ferus gripped his blade once more with both hands, his pale gaze watching the girl. "For I am."

Luminara's painted brows raised slightly. Her old master was like this, in the beginning. Threatening death at every turn, offering mercy only when he was ready to. It brought back memories to see a stranger doing the same. Nevertheless, She readied to attack him. She positioned herself as if she wasn't planning an attack of any kind. She looked him straight in the eyes, not looking at his eyes, but more at his mind. Because he could obviously manipulate the Force, she couldn't delve as deep as normal. She barely scratched the surface, to be precise. But that was all she needed. She used the Force to cloud Krest's vision. If it worked, he would be temporarily blind. Drawing her lightsaber she sprinted straight toward him. Temporarily was just long enough...
[member="Darth Ferus"]

The Zabrak kept still, even as his vision went black. His form was calm, holding his sword with both hands in a firm grip. He was trained to fight blind, relying on his other senses. Including the Force. [member="Luminara Rikanati"] stood out like a beacon to Darth Ferus, a dark spot on the grey desert. The sands around him shifted, and he leapt backwards, creating a sand trap for the Twi'lek to stand in if she kept to the ground. He'd continue back, his blade already set to deflect the girls attack.

Luminara managed to jump before she fell into Krest trap. She continued to blind him, making swift jabs and swings at all part of his body.
[member="Darth Ferus"]

[member="Luminara Rikanati"] 's saber was far from quiet. Through both the Force and his own hearing he was able to deflect the girls saber, feeling her out. Testing her strength. At this point he just shut his eyes. Let the girl focus on blinding him, it will only lead to nothing for her. He would not go on the offensive. Not yet, not until he was sure she could't do anything more.

Luminara began to get a little frustrated. At herself, mostly. She felt so clumsy compared to Krest, as if she knew nothing. His eyes were closed now. She ceased to blind him, focusing all her concentration and energy on her fighting. She had to at least dent him. She had to.

Swordplay was like breathing to the Zabrak. Similar to how [member="Luminara Rikanati"] was better then him with the Force, he was better then her with a blade, able to keep up with her without his eyes. Now they they were back however..

His eyes snapped open as they focused in on the girls frame. He suddenly burst past her, leaping, flipping, cartwheeling. Doing all he knew of Ataru with ease, his purple burning blade flashing as he slashed. Now was his turn to be on the offensive. Luminara can use what ever she likes, but if she focuses on just a sword fight, she might end up loosing, But perhaps she could beat Ferus with just a blade. Time would only tell, but time was running out.

Luminara was defending herself as best she knew how. She blocked as many of Krest's attacks as she could. finally, it became apparent that she was losing. She began to pummel him with the Force, pushing again and again. Finally, with a hard leap into the air and an angry yell, she drove a powerful push down on top of him, mixing lightning in with it.

The Zabrak kept on his flipping and spinning, using it to evade the pushes. But even then he was caught by one, putting him off balance and off step. He was unable to evade her next push, instead using his blade to catch the lightning while being pushed into the sand. He was flat on his back by the end of it, his arms burned from the lightning that shot down his blade. He grinned though, even as he laid there. Yes, he was happy. Thrilled.

Luminara stood over him, pointing her saber at his throat. She was panting, and her eyes were glowing a little. She wasn't smiling, but on the inside she felt very satisfied. "How was that?" She asked him flatly, the anger from the battle melting slowly.
[member="Darth Ferus"]

His form suddenly sank into the sand itself as he grinned. He would fade quickly, almost as if the desert had chosen to swallow him. He would come back to the surface beside her, both of his hands behind his back as he did so. Remarkably, he was free of sand, possibly due to his manipulation of it. Deus was in it's sheath, and he was calm.

"Good, you have impressed me. Now, what would you like to learn?"

[member="Luminara Rikanati"]

Luminara watched in awe as Krest sank into the sand. When he emerged from the sand standing next to her, she met his gaze with a coy smile. "Whatever you can give me, blue eyes," She said, winking. She then cleared her throat. "Ahem.....Pardon me. I mean, master."

He raised a brow to the Tei'lek, but shook his head. "You're cockiness will be the death of you. However, I will show you Ataru." He lept back from her, pulling his blade free once more, pointing it at the girl. "Constant movement. Leaping, cartwheeling. All takes extraordinary dexterity and endurance. Attack me, but do not stand in one place. You will find that is a terrible idea here."
