Operating an intersystem private military always required two things. Capital, and clients. The second often generated the first. The Galactic Alliance was a big client, but it was also the target of many other factions in the galaxy. In order to survive, Phoenix Fleet needed to diversify clientele. Alexandra had certain morals, however, that limited the number of major powers in the galaxy she'd be willing to work with.
That list led her to the CIS, a government that understood Capital, clients, and supply and demand. They had their own military, but they also had a reputation of being good employers of mercenary companies. That led Lexi to schedule a visit with representatives of their government, to discuss contracting with the corporate state.
Lexi stepped off of her shuttle, an intersystem one she took into CIS space as it was typically bad form to fly a star destroyer into unaligned space. Her fleet currently sat outside of CIS space, while she flew in for her meeting. From the landing pad at the government building on Geonosis, she walked inside.
"Alexandra Morrow, CEO and Commander of Phoenix Fleet. I have a meeting." She said as she stopped at the reception desk in the lobby. She was dressed in a working dress uniform, sans any weaponry. She gave a smile as she removed her headgear and waited for a response.
