Special Features: The gas canister's shots are made to be twice as powerful as the average DH-17 pistol, this costs the capacity. Also, the gas canister shots have the ability to melt through ship walls if multiple shots hit the same area. The power cell has been enlarged, meaning added weight, to allow 25 more shots.
Description: Core's Death is a modified DH-17 blaster pistol, which was once a favored weapon on ships because it could pierce most body armors without breaking through a ship wall. While Corruck has a certain amount of nostalgia, he wanted to be sure that this weapon could be used in a time where armors were becoming more and more powerful. He had his men make a larger power cell for his personal side-arm and had them work on making the gas chamber's fire more potent. The end result was that the blaster could fire only half as many shots using the gas canisters compared to regular DH-17's. The enlarged power cell allowed for a quarter increase in capacity, and an increase in the amount of time the cell required to be recharged (now 20 minutes, rather than the usual 15).
