CorSec

Corellian Security, also known as CorSec, operated mostly as the main law enforcement group within the Corellian System. It was the second branch of the Corellian Defense Force and also held three sub-divisions. The Corellian Police was simply that, security and law enforcement division of CorSec which was comprised of Beat Cops, Detectives, and Tactical Response Agents and had almost sector wide jurisdiction. CorSec Troopers took charge of other ground-based peacekeeping duties and served as a powerful military group and maintained a modest Air Force. They proudly wore Corellian Green on their armor and starfighters. Together these two sub-divisions of CorSec defended Corellian colonies and Confederate worlds. CorSec also had a small naval presence in the form of its Smuggling Interdiction Division which worked closely with the Corellian Defense Force.

Ranks
  • Officer: The lowest rank and your typical Beat Cop.
  • Lieutenant: Often still a Beat Cop, Lieutenants act as mentors to the lower Officers on the street.
  • Detective: While not technically a rank in and of itself, the title of Detective was given to exemplary Lieutenants with a penchant for taking the initiative. Detectives were expected to work with Corellian Naval Intelligence and could still hold later ranks as well as their high security clearance throughout their career.
  • Sergeant: Sergeants commanded small, intimate squads or squadrons of officers.
  • Master Sergeant: A single platoon was under the command of a Master Sergeant.
  • Captain: Captains led companies or flights of CorSec officers.
  • Master Chief: The Master Chief, or just Chief on the Law Enforcement Side, held extreme responsibility. On the Law Enforcement side the Chief commanded an entire CorSec station and oversaw the deployment of its staff. As a CorSec Trooper they commanded an entire Battalion of troops. This was the highest rank one could achieve in Law Enforcement.
  • Major: A Major commanded an entire brigade of CorSec Troopers which were several thousand strong.
  • Colonel: With command over entire divisions, Colonels led tens of thousands of CorSec Troopers.
The following ranks require staff approval and are given to those who prove themselves IC to be competent leaders.
  • General: Generals commanded corps and were integral to the ground command and dispersal of CorSec Troopers throughout the Confederation.
  • Major General: Major Generals were in command of a field army which consisted of several corps and hundreds of thousands of troops.
  • [NPC] Marshal: With almost sole control over CorSec and its military division of CorSec Troopers. They sat on part of the War Council and ultimately served Parliament and the Corellian Minister.
