Name: Corek Family 'Vacation' Home

Intent: To create a place Noah can go to cool off and maybe providing a fleshed out setting for a few threads

Classification: Vacation House/Safehouse

Location: Saluecami

Affiliation: Noah

Description: The Corek Family 'Vacation' Home is quiet the site to behold, though underneath the facade it puts up, its basically a mini-fort, fitted with platoon of droid defenders and state of the art security systems, that though isn't event the full extent of its defensive prowess. On the outside it looks like it is made of a sort of stone and on the inside it looks as if it is made of plaster, but beneath the stone and plaster, is a much more sturdy material. A two-layer defensive structure is underneath all of it, the first layer is a layer of straight tungsten five centimeters thick and the final layer consists of four centimeter long tungsten shock absorbing springs designed to dissapate kinetic energy before it tears a wall down. This system allows for a good two hours of constant shelling or bombing before cracks and weight is put on the wall, after about another hour of pressure from the weight, the weight will be too much, causing the wall to collapse. Of course this is after they pierce the force dome of course.

Defenses:
  • Fifteen BX-Commando Droids
  • Ten IG-100 MagnaGuards
  • Five Droideka's
  • Eight Hekler'Kok CDT-1's (Scattered in random places around the house)
  • Two Omega SAM Turrets (One in the North-East and one in the South-West, each has a 180 degree traverse range)
  • Various Bobby Traps (Trip Wires, Proximity Mines, Pitfalls, etc.)
  • Force Dome
  • Cameras and Laser Trip Wires are scattered over the property to alert of intruders
Points of Interest:
  • Underground Bunker: Originally the property was a fallout bunker during the Great Hyperspace Wars in case the war came to Saleucami, Ansil Corek stumbled upon the bunker nearly a hundred years after its construction. Since then, the bunker has been retrofitted by each generation of the Corek family, it is equipped with air filtration, water and food processors to last over a year and a independent generator to last just as long.
  • Basement: The basement is a perfect place for storing everything needed in the house, farming equipment for the small farm outside, food and other perishables, it even holds a small armory, though the amount of weapons doesn't give of the impression of small.
  • First Floor: The first floor contains all the qualities you'd expect in such a nice house, library, kitchen and dining room, office and even a game room that consists of every game and gaming console you can imagine. Also on the first floor is a armory that consists of any weapon you can imagine, as well as the house's droid security detail
  • Second Floor: The second floor consists of a multitude of bedrooms, a master and five spare bedrooms, two of which have queen sized beds while the other three each have four bunk beds. Like every other floor as well, the floor has a armory, consisting of every weapon one can imagine, just like the armories in the first floor and the basement.
  • Grounds: The grounds of the 'vacation' home make it seem like just a average farmhouse. Multiple fields contain multiple crops, such as wheat, barley, Jogan fruit, coffee beans, Nysillin and anything else that could be needed to survive. The grounds also consist of two deadly surprises for any air attackers, two Omega SAM Turrets. Laser trip wires and cameras are scattered everywhere across the property to warn of intruders.
  • Hangar/Motor Pool: Twenty meters to the west of the house is a hangar slash motor pool that can hold two bombers/fighters/interceptors or a medium freighter. It also holds space for two speeder bikes and a speeder.

Your wall system is based in pretty sound science. However how long until the wall comes down? Titanium is quite strong but even it has its breaking points, especially with the weight of load bearing walls pressing onto it during an attack. I'd like to see more about how long it stays up, what happens during a direct hit, etc.

Combined the first and second layer and made it all tungsten and made the third layer tungsten as well, added in what you requested as well.

Thanks for fixing the tungsten thing. I see no problems with your fortifications since tungsten is ductile and can be cut by a steel hacksaw. Its not totally impenetrable.

With the high, high number of fortifications on this home it has given me pause. Now, I am not asking you to remove them at all, unless you want to. Instead of removing them I would like to see a short (only 10 posts or so) dev thread about the home. You mention many generations of Corek's renovate it. That might be a good jumping off point and fleshes out the home.
