BIOGRAPHY:
Cora Revik's parents had both died when she was very young, so she has very little in the way of memories of them. She was raised on the streets of Nar Shaddaa, and took what she needed to survive. It didn't take long for her to gain the attention of one of the local Hutt crime lords. The great slug offered her food and protection in exchange for her services as a thief, and Cora had little choice to accept. She spent years under the Hutt's thumb and found it impossible to escape his control. One day, however, she'd successfully picked the pocket of a robed man that had been visiting Nar Shaddaa on some kind of mission. He quickly tracked her down and discovered that she had latent Force sensitivity.
Instead of chastising her for the theft, the man offered to take Cora away from the Smuggler's Moon and bring her into the Jedi Order. The girl, who was barely ten years old at that point, happily leapt at the chance to escape her cruel Hutt overlord. So she was taken to the Academy to begin her training as a Jedi. There, when not training in lightsaber combat or Force meditation, Cora spent a great deal of time getting lost in the archives, wanting to learn as much about the galaxy as she possibly could. After years of learning, she has only recently been granted the title of Jedi Knight.
