OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: To create the computer which houses the entirety of the SPECTRE database.
  • Image Source: Sci-Fi Interior by BlueRogueVyse
  • Canon Link: N/A
  • Primary Source: N/A

PRODUCTION INFORMATION
  • Manufacturer: SPECTRE
  • Affiliation: SPECTRE
  • Model: Central Operations Processing Register (COPR)
  • Modularity: None
  • Production: Unique
  • Material: Titanium, Silver, Computer Parts
SPECIAL FEATURES

Strengths:
  • Storage: The system has a large amount of storage, having stored data since just before the Dark Ages.
  • Anti-Slice: The presence of the Echo Pulse system makes the computer network extremely difficult to slice into from the outside.
  • Encrypted: The system is heavily encrypted and capable of analyzing incoming encrypted messages.

Weaknesses:
  • Shipborn: The system is bound to a ship, so if the ship is destroyed or boarded, the computer system is likely to be compromised.
  • EMP: Because of the need for fast connections to a holonet transceiver, the system is not shielded. Shielding would harm speed.

DESCRIPTION
Prior to the fall of the galaxy into chaos, the remaining Icarii population formed an organization, in secret, that they dubbed SPECTRE. Meant to do the necessary work of retribution in secret, their secrets also needed to be stored somewhere. COPR was developed as a secret storage system aboard one of the remaining Icarii fleet vessels. A computer system of such importance had to be protected, so an echo pulse, socketguards and an encryption system were installed within the computer system to protect it from outside influence. The computer itself holds the information gleaned from both the holonet and SPECTRE actions. It also holds the information necessary for contacting each member of the organization, though not their names or any other identifiers. The system is capable of processing data and facilitating holonet calls between encrypted sources.
