HISTORY
Gollo Thazz was a respected militagung of Otoh Urs, a remote Gungan settlement in the depths of Naboo’s swamps. Raised to honor his ancestors and protect his community, Gollo was known for his skill in hunting and his deep connection to the natural world. As he grew older, he began experiencing unsettling visions — dreams of dark waters and echoing whispers calling him to venture deeper into the abyss. Driven by curiosity and a sense of foreboding, Gollo followed these visions to a hidden cavern, a place long shunned by his people. There, he sensed a powerful, dark presence that seemed to resonate with the stories of the relentless predators said to guard the depths of Naboo's oceans.
After returning to Otoh Urs, Gollo’s demeanor changed. He spoke of the dark place with reverence, claiming to have felt a connection with something powerful beneath the water. His fixation unsettled the community, and when he began exhibiting aggressive tendencies and unprovoked outbursts, the elders grew concerned. They feared that whatever he had encountered in the depths had corrupted him. Despite Gollo’s insistence that he was stronger and more capable of protecting them, the elders decided he was a danger to the community and exiled him, sending him away with nothing but his weapons and his shame.
Wandering the low places of the Galaxy, Gollo fell in with a group of outcasts who claimed to be remnants of the Knights of Ren. They recognized the darkness within him and offered him a place among them. Embracing his new life, he shed his former identity and took the name Copek Ren, drawing on the ferocity and cunning of the predator that haunted his visions. As Copek Ren, he became a driven and ruthless enforcer, wielding his newfound dark power without restraint. Yet, beneath the hardened exterior, the whispers from the abyss still lingered, reminding him of the darkness he once embraced.
