DESCRIPTION
When Darth Scarius, proud warrior of the Sith, lost his arm in battle, it nearly became fatally infected as he was unable to have a qualified doctor tend to it for quite some time. To prevent this from happening again, the Sith Lord constructed a medical droid which would be able to care for most superficial and some more severe battle wounds, as well as any other medical problems he might be prone to.

Industrial Automaton, large droid-manufacturing company, recently reviewed sales across the galaxy and combined it with customer feedback to reach the conclusion that astromech droids were in high demand. Wanting to rise to the challenge at once, the company immediately began to make R2 droids in large quantities to sell across the galaxy. The droids are painted with the blues and black of the company.

DESCRIPTION
When Darth Crucio conquered a moon and took up residence in one of its cities, the Sith Lady assumed responsibility for all of those living within its walls. A feared and hated Sith Lord, she knew she and her city would be pursued, and as a temporary safety addition until she could either improve upon it or crush those who made it a necessity, she reworked the Viper probe droid to suit her needs and style, and installed several around the outside of the city.

  • Can be easily shot down or crushed.
  • Has limited accuracy and shoots slowly enough for a moving target to easily escape.

DESCRIPTION
Neutral Force-Knight Renee Stryder was good at a lot of things, but combat was not one of them. Clumsy and without a natural flow to her fighting style, the woman opted for the Force where she could - even better, not to fight at all. But she came up with another solution still; to create a droid that could do the fighting for her. That in mind, she was quick to manufacture a battle droid which would hopefully level anyone she might need to defend herself against.

DESCRIPTION
Although the crime lord known as the Hawk greatly enjoyed bossing her employees about, there often came times when it was simply not convenient for a living being to eliminate her targets. When such situations arose, the woman decided to combat this problem by manufacturing a team of droids to do her bidding for her instead. Though lacking in the subtlety and finesse a sentient creature might bring to assassinations, her droids were unwaveringly loyal and equally as hard to trace to her as her human and alien assassins. It was a fair balance, she felt.

Strengths:
  • Adept at marksmanship and fire rapidly.
  • Much to their owner's delight, the droids are exceptionally faithful.
Weaknesses:
  • Only made as quick replacements for humans, the droids are low-quality in their design and thus easily hacked.
  • Provided one can get close enough, the droids are not exceptionally durable.

DESCRIPTION
Cybot Galactica recently held a meeting with their shareholders, who all voted for making their next line of droids one specifically for menial labor tasks. This want was met with ease, and the company began producing droids that did exactly that within little time. Within just as little time, they were selling galaxy-wide.

  • The droid carries out a number of dull and repetitive tasks efficiently and without complaint.
Weaknesses:
  • Made for no other purpose, the droids are extremely simplistic and will be crushed immediately in combat.
