Ilwynog was standing in a circle, watching the boss discussing the trade and prices of spice. It seemed that this was going to be a bold new expansion of the operation. Funding was coming from an outside source as the drugs were growing in popularity, especially in the refugee sectors of the Hutt moon. Ilwynog was cautious, they weren't sure what to expect in terms of arrests and taking down the organisation but the mysterious donors were something that they needed to look into further. They were sure that there could be ties to some seriously dangerous individuals and that there needed to be an investigation of who was suppling funds like this.

Once the meeting had concluded, Ilwynog thought this was their chance, they needed to get a lead on the supplier but communicating this with the boss was going to be tricky. Mind Trick and using the Force was a no go, they had attempted that before but the boss seemed resistant to the Mind Tricks. It had been unfortunate but meant that Ilwynog had to deploy some more underhanded tactics, getting other dealers caught and ensuring that they were presented as the best dealer of the gang. It wasn't something that they enjoyed in terms of work, it was dirtier and meant that they had to work in the more morally grey line.

However, it was effective in terms of information and ensuring that the Silver Jedi were getting intel to take down the operation.

"Boss." The heavily genderless robotic voice of Ilwynog called out, they approached the Duros and gave a wave, "boss, I was wondering if I could talk about our financers , seems their money is helping us out but was wondering if I could talk to them about a raise?" It was a weak question but Ilwynog was getting desperate after a few weeks of failed approaches so far.

The Duros turned around and studied Ilwynog for several moments then growled, "I told you to drop that stuff. They ain't looking to be recognised and more you push, the more I am suspicious of ya. Too many questions ya got. Even if ya seem to be the best dealer." The Duros was too smart to know how to shut Ilwynog down and they knew it couldn't be pushed further, the consequences of being caught were too severe.

Instead, they dropped the matter and headed off to the streets. Deciding to check out the area, while they didn't have anything to sell at this point in time, it was always good to check the streets out. The rain was coming down hard and Ilwynog was grateful for waterproof clothing as they looked around the quiet areas of the sector they were in. Checking the Shadow database with the free time they held. It was a good source of intel and it allowed them to send messages to their higher ups and report ongoing investigations. For now, they were updating that their cover was precarious position and that they might need an extraction out soon. It wasn't what they wanted to do but they had to be realistic about their approaches and there would be others who could replace them and ensure the mission went smoothly.

As they finished their message, something came up, a transmission from outside. It was a new mission, something of vital important. A terrorist organisation was plotting to bomb a Jedi temple and Jedi Shadows were needed to infiltrate and take down the operation before the plot could go ahead. It was not a mission that Ilwynog would have normally taken while already on a mission but this was something urgent and disappearing for a few days could be explained in their position.

Accepting the assignment, Ilwynog noted the location, it was offworld, so they were going to need their ship. Nothing flashy but the ship would get them there in time.
