- The addition of the patch on the right shoulder made from the taozin skin nodule provides some protection against force users.
- Leather Jerkin provides a small amount of protection as light armor to the wearer against blaster bolts.

This jacket is to be used as a reward for the writers of the Free World’s Coalition who participated in the Hapes and Onderon Rebellions for their efforts.
The Jacket has leather sleeves made of bantha hide. But using a technique taught from the clothiers of Naboo a leather jerkin has been formed for the chest and torso for the sleeves to be attached. On the left shoulder of the jacket is a patch depicting an image of the planet where the rebellion took place. This patch is made from a taozin skin nodule, much in the same way the amulets are made except this one is sewn onto the shoulder of the sleeve of the jacket.
