Strengths:
- Weapons Testbed - the Conqueror-class Heavy Cruiser is designed to test prototypes of the LRBBeam super-heavy beam cannon intended for installation onto the Void Irregular Fleet flagship, the Ablution. As such, they have immense firepower for a heavy cruiser, and multiple Conquerors can engage and destroy ships of classes larger than its own with little difficulty.
- Intense Range - the Conqueror's main gun can hit a target well outside typical combat range, typically ensuring that the enemy ship is crippled or at least significantly damaged even before it gets close enough to open fire on the heavy cruiser.
- No Hangar - the Conqueror's hangar space was sacrificed to fit the LRBBeam and as such the ship is incapable of defending itself with fighters or launching bombers, being forced to rely on picket carriers or other ships with fighters for protection.
- Offensive Design - The Conqueror's main weapon is pointed forward and has extremely limited traverse in one dimension. Ships that flank the Conqueror will find only its lighter anti-fighter weaponry, half its anti-ship turrets, and a single light beam cannon to defend it. The ship has blind spots against larger warships that it attempts to cover with its offensive nature.
Five Conqueror-class ships have been built, and additional ones shall be constructed as needed to replace them. The Scylla and Gorgon function as components in the Void Irregular Fleet, while the Manticore, Basilisk, and Hydra are reserve ships to be brought in as needed when the Scylla and Gorgon are destroyed or need to be repaired. The latter three occasionally find service in other Sith fleets, where their immense firepower has been put to good use. The first deployment of the Conquerors at Rhen Var saw a League of Voss fleet decimated before coming into firing range, driven off before it had a chance to interrupt the ground invasion. New Conquerors will be produced as needed whenever one of the five is destroyed.
