Aurna had another night full of what couldn’t be called dreams. She didn’t understand any of it. It was all from her Aunt’s point of view. As if she was Alli Wren. She didn’t understand it. They didn’t make sense. What more, she seemed to be losing herself the more she saw. It was hard to explain but it seemed that with every vision she seemed less like herself. Her staff was concerned and she couldn’t blame them. It was time to call one of the few people who she trusted. She opened up the holonet and called
Matsu Ike
. She hoped that she would pick up. She stared at her room, her new prison as she had taken some time off to try to sort through this. Hoping that Matsu answered.
She found herself with habits she didn’t remember forming and her taste in everything seemed to be changing. It seemed that somehow one day she just started changing and nothing seemed to stop it. No meditating or keeping herself busy or fancy sleep studies. It was terrifying. It only seemed to be getting worse. Aurna hoped that perhaps Matsu might know what was going on.
