Formally know as Uniform Octopus Co., The Company for Far Worlds, or CFW for short isn't really a new company. Instead it's a rebranding of a old on. With Jorco's connection to his own brand of organized crime, namely The Sarlacc Syndicate which has been running a underground rail road of sorts connecting Hutt, and Confederate space by setting up small outposts along the way the Rodian figured there could be far more potential with that kind of an operation.
So, with connections to organized crime, a large stockpile of military grade hardware as a former private security/military firm. Jorco began to transform the company into more of a exploratory syndicate of rough and tough colonists. Being able to found and fund his own collection of micro civilizations throughout the Outer Rim. Establishing former criminal enclaves into colony outposts where along with the trading and shipping of illegal goods, could also act as a front for it all and work as small scale mining operations, and company towns, that can be effectively secured by the company's privateering division.
Later on however, Jorco understood that there was big money to be had in arms dealing and gun running. So to capitalize on this he began designing his own weapons brand. Called Project Cedin, Cedin weapons were design to be very affordable. As the slogan goes, "Protection for the Every Man!". The overall aesthetic for Cedin firearms is a simplistic, boxy design and with mechanics so simple even a child could make the most of them.

RATIONALE
This company is where members of The Rodian Brotherhood went to after joining under the umbrella of POM Security. Later turning into a it own semi autonomous company after Jorco began heading it after being removed as CEO of POM Security. So one could say a series of unfortunate events have led to something possibly worth while. Sadly for POM Security this subsidiary wouldn't remain under it's parent company for long as it gain independence through some corporate backstabbing.
More recently the company has rebranded as The Company for Far Worlds
