  • Sturdy: Passed through hundreds of extremely stressful trials, being atmospherically sealed against the weather, heat, and cold, in addition to being water proof. Every part has been ruggedized and reinforced, and streamlined to cost as little to repair as possible.
  • Adjustable Shock: It's adjustable electrification system, allows a discharge if up to seventy thousand volts, and can be lowered in increments of five thousand volts, with adjustable timers to control the duration of said shock to last up to twenty seconds
  • Floating Toss: Built in micro repulsor tech is very quiet when launched, and the velocity and travel path of the launched baton can be controlled and adjusted
  • Targeting: Two different forms of targeti g, the primary being a wireless system that transmits to HUD's in an armor system, and a slower, manual one with a shorter range, both having a Holocron type interface

WEAKNESSES
  • Weight: Better have strong arms when swinging
  • Burnout: It's power cell that controls electrical discharges has only juice room for fifteen discharges at fifty thousand volts, ten if at the full 70,000
  • Slow targeting: Both targeting systems are slow, and require the sensors inside to be within at least forty meters of the baton to properly register them, and it takes a while to plot a course of travel towards multiple targets. Also, the maximum number of Targets it can handle is seven
  • Dodge chance: Though it's repulsor system makes little noise, it can still be heard at ranges of five meters closing in, allowing the possibility a target can dodge
  • One or the other: It can use it's Vibro cell or it's electric cell, not both at the same time.
DESCRIPTION

Developed for StarGuard Dynamics, The GEID (Galactic Electrokinetic Impact Device) was the only one that survived the rigorous safety and durability testing of hundreds of trials and dozens of prototypes and is closest to what the one who commissioned it asked for. Meant to be used en masse by StarGuard personnel, Bacta-Works spared no expense at crafting it's very first commission. Making the Galaxy a safer place one act of blunt force trauma at a time.

STRENGTHS
  • Talk to the Hand: This biomechanical hand contains multiple utilities, such as a beskar cutting tool, a powerful military grade comlink, and hidden slicing equipment in the palm, and contains sensors to simulate perfectly the feeling of a normal hand, with systems to simulate bleeding as well in the event the hand's skin is actually pierced.
  • Power Fist: It's skin is beskar infused biofiber and it's skeleton is Phrik, resulting in a very tough hand that is potentially extremely difficult to destroy via conventional means, able to withstand 21 times the blunt force trauma of normal human hands, and is naturally resistant to lightsabers
  • RADIATION. DETECTED: It's got mini rad sensors that transmit the level of radiation vis pain sensation, the pain of which raises depending on very low, low, average, high, very high, or extreme levels of radiation, the pain matching the level of rads, with a rad count showing on a hidden Holoprojector display in the thumb

  • Bunny: Runs on a hydroelectric power source continuously recharged by heartbeats and blood flow with a back up mini condensed power cell that lasts two weeks if for whatever reason the primary power mechanism doesn't work

  • Ion: Shuts down momentarily if exposed to Ion discharges, for a few minutes
  • Slice Times: It's wireless slicing abilities take a period of minutes, and the user must focus as it feeds him a holographic readout of the slicing progress
  • Gravitic: Gravitic weapons heavily damage it's circuitry
  • Cryo: Cryo weapons heavily damage it's circuitry
  • Repair Times: It takes a long time to repair something of such quality

A custom job for a high paying customer, Bacta-Works research scientists went through a dozen failed prototypes where it was projected signal feedback from the hand would result in incontinence and eventually heart failure until this was corrected, The Ultra Hand was the only successful result of a long and difficult research project and the closest they got to what he asked for. But the research provided valuable insight going forward...
