Inside of a Jedi shuttle there had been a calling through the Force upon Jedi Apprentice Kas Larsen. He couldn't ignore it any longer. This was something for him to investigate. It had been nagging at him for a while since he had returned from the Medical Bay to actively studying and training. Hailing from Tython he had an incredible knack in piloting a ship.

Coordinates had been entered for the planet Commenor. At least this was within Galactic Alliance territory but he was being careful and on guard this time around. It seemed there was a transmission coming through and trying to patch into Kas' communications. There it was the sensation in the Force had grown stronger. He was following his instincts and progressed further with them and the Force guiding Kas along in his venture to Commenor.

The young Jedi opened the transmission line and reported who he was to the sender.

"Uh this is Jedi Apprentice Kas Larsen reporting in. Proceeding to land here and investigate the surface. Jedi business."

Hopefully, this would be suffice for Kas to be granted in continuing his investigation about this draw in the Force with those of the Galactic Alliance operating on Commenor but he realised one thing. This wasn't coming from anyone in the Galactic Alliance. It was different coding when he checked the transmission signal. Who could this be..?

The messaging system belonging to Jairdain had been malfunctioning for a while, affecting both sending and receiving messages. It would do random things, and nobody seemed to know how to fix it. It wasn't a problem for the Master, but it could be irritating from time to time. Not expecting to hear anything from it, when a stranger's voice broke the silence of her office, she focused on it and drew it to herself.

If she could see, then she would have looked at the speaker with a quizzical look. That confusion was writ clearly on her face, and she pushed the button to respond.

The landing pad is west of the building. I'll meet you there."

What she didn't tell him was that it was all a malfunction on her end. Oh well, he seemed friendly enough, and he stated he was a Jedi. If somebody were here to assassinate her, she was positive they would not announce their arrival. Feeling she didn't need to wear a jacket, Jairdain headed in the direction of the landing pad she had directed the Jedi to land on.

Being the only person heading in that direction, she arrived and opened the door leading into the old Silver Jedi Temple and Embassy.

After being told through the communication transmission set between his ship and the Embassy on Commenor. A little trouble with the comms but at least responses did bounce back and forth.

Kas was accompanied by his siblings; Caden and Seri but they'd remain on the ship. Knowing that through the Force nothing was disturbing their senses surrounding their brother. It wasn't for them be involved further but keeping an eye on Kas at least for now.

Once the ship made its arrival and landed in the docking bay in the Embassy. Kas bid farewell to Caden and Kas reassured them he'll be alright on his own. There was something in the Force calling out to him. It drew him to Commenor and there's always a reasoning behind it all.

"I'll see you two later. Embassy here seems legit. Maybe you can dig up some intel while I'm away." Kas said to Caden and Seri as he heads out of the ship. Geared up and ready to go.

"Sure thing Kas. Wouldn't mind learning more about this planet. Commenor huh." Caden was studying his datapad while looking up what information he could find about Commenor.

"Keep your commlinks on you. In case anything comes up. We rendezvous with each other back here alright? No pullin' any stunts." Seri said to both Caden and Kas in a firm tone.

Kas held his commlink device in one hand and placed it on his Utility Belt and Caden done the same. Not in a mocking form but giving their sister that reassurance before they all separated.

"Sure we'll make it back in one piece. Jus' in time for some lunch heh." Kas smiled to them.

The Jedi Apprentice got out of his ship which was like a second home between him and his siblings. They prefer to be active, out and about doing various activities as Jedi.

Kas stood in the landing pad having walked a short distance from where his ship was. Apparently the Silver Jedi had a presence here when Kas did some research. He's never encountered any.

A door opened where Kas saw the Jedi Master Jairdain Jairdain standing opposite from where he stood. A two-fingered salute casually given to Jairdain as a greeting. Next he was able to sense the Force surrounding and coming from the woman that met with him in the landing bay.

"Hello. I'm Kas Larsen, Jedi Apprentice. I'm only here to.. Uh well, unsure if you'd understand but the Force brought me here. I know it sounds vague but wanted to investigate this feeling."

Kas stood waiting as he began a conversation with Jairdain Jairdain while the two stood in the Landing Bay.

"Ah, that call is one I understand well. It doesn't happen as often to me these days, but when I was younger, it certainly did. What do you think brought you here? With the malfunctioning comms, I'd almost say the Force guided you to me."

Her actual age was close to 60, but she looked far younger. This was due to her race, and she would live another several thousand years. She was already feeling some losses. Her first husband had died, and now her second would soon be reaching the end of his life. Her heart was too large to remain alone, though, and when that time came, she was sure she wouldn't be on her own for long.

Coming out of her rather dark thoughts, she waited for Kas to answer.

"My name is Jairdain Ismet. Welcome to Commenor."

Moving to the side, she wasn't trying to block him from entering the Embassy.

Kas nodded his head in acknowledging Jairdain's response and it seemed the young man grew more comfortable felt more at ease. He was with another Force Sensitive that understood him.

When the woman had said the Force guided Kas to her it appeared in his views that she was expecting his arrival. Did she knew more about this calling through the Force he felt? His guard was up just in case he lets Jairdain lead him inside of the Embassy and a Temple structure.

"It's nice to meet Ms Ismet. It sounds like you were expecting me or someone to come here. Thanks for the welcoming." Kas entering the Embassy first as Jairdain stepped aside to allow him in.

Apparently the rumours were this planet serves where the old Silver Jedi Order operates in the Galaxy. A split from the New Jedi Order that Kas was apart of and familiar with. What was the difference between the two. He'd perhaps find out later down the line. He wanted to train.

"Well my reasoning for coming here was to hopefully learn and train. Defences against the Darkside of the Force - study it to be prepared. I've looked into becoming a Jedi Sentinel, a Shadow. Be what my mother was once in her time as a Jedi Master from the past."

Revealed his intentions and reasons coming to the planet Commenor to Jairdain as he walked through the hall from the Landing Pad toward the entrance of the Embassy. Kas was casual and calm while he paced alongside the woman who accompanied him.

He waited and listened to hear from Jairdain as the head further along the path to reach the Silver Jedi Embassy on this planet. Kas knew his brother and sister can manage between themselves. All while he handled his own objectives for being on this world.

"When I heard your voice on the coms, I knew you were coming."

It really was that simple. Admittedly, he was the first to respond when it malfunctioned. So both the Force and technology brought them together.

She listened to Kas as they walked through the Embassy halls, and she guided him to her office. The room was open and airy. In a corner was a shelf unit that held a few knick-knacks from her life, a desk, a couch, and a chair, as well as a space for exercise, meditation, or sparring. The last bit she didn't do very often, but there were sparring weapons along the wall next to the space.

"Are you looking to study the Dark Side of the Force?"

Lifting an eyebrow, Jairdain hoped she misunderstood what he meant. While she was no longer a Sith, she was familiar with their teachings and could help him. Not that she felt he wanted to be turned.

"Are you wanting to learn espionage and sneaking around as well? That's part of what a Shadow does. I can help you with some of that. Technology items I'm useless with."

Pointing at her eyes, she shrugged slightly.

"I'm blind."

Kas smiled at least the comms did manage to work for the two in being aware of each other's presence. The woman was polite and respectful gave off an experienced, veteran and full of wisdom vibe for Kas.

Following her along through the halls of the Embassy into an office. This seemed like a facility owned and served as a residence for Jairdain from what Kas presumed. His eyes glanced around to see the shelf filled with belongings and possessions that the woman owned.

Kas saw the furniture that served the usual roles of an office environment but there was space for other activities. He noticed there were sparring weapons available next to the space where exercising, meditation and sparring can take place.

"I'm not wanting to become a Dark sider or a Sith. No. Knowing what the Dark side can do and be able to defend against all aspects of it. That is one of my goals as a Jedi. Study the dangers, the impacts and what to be aware of whenever I confront those who confront myself and others."

The reasons for Kas to explore the Dark side of the Force hopefully had been clear to Jairdain. He was not turning from the Light to the Dark. No. He wants to learn in how to defend and prepare himself against those who oppose the New Jedi Order and the Light side of the Force.

Jairdain's hope towards Kas were correct. He is not seeking to become a Dark sider or apart of the Sith Order. He was perhaps displaying traits of a Jedi Shadow already and a wise Jedi to that. Eliminating threats of the Dark side and anything related to the Sith was on Kas' mind.

"Yes I want to learn, practice, study and train in those fields in becoming a Jedi Shadow. Master Ismet. Espionage and stealth would be great to learn from you. I'm grateful."

The young Jedi Apprentice nodded his head briefly to the Jedi Master offering to teach and train him in some areas of becoming a Jedi Shadow. A specialisation of the Jedi Sentinels.

"I'll manage to sort something out with the topic related to any technology master. I did spend some time in the CorSec Academy before coming to the New Jedi Order and I could probably seek out the Quartermaster or Jedi Artisans when I get back to the Jed Temple."

Kas reassured Jairdain that with the lack of diving in anything related to Technology that Sentinels and Shadows would come across. He was appreciating her attention, effort and time being made available for him to begin his journey in becoming those roles.

"Ah sorry I didn't know master. It's noted." Kas mentioned and he became a little more considerate and cautious of Jairdain in a good sense though. She is managing of course.

The Jedi Apprentice stood inside of the office with the Jedi Master. Ready to begin training.

"Have a seat, please. Do you want any refreshments? The kitchen here can provide pretty much anything you want."

Motioning to the couch, she wanted to get to know Kas and his expectations before starting to train him. Whether he wanted anything or not, when she had her answer, she would order something and take a seat in the chair that was near the couch.

"Very good, I'm glad you don't want to learn how to wield that. What I'd like to learn is what you already know. Then I can figure out what you still need to learn. I assume you are likely familiar with some of the basics. Push, pull, maybe telepathy, speed, and those things almost every Force user knows."

He had already partially answered this, but Jairdain needed to know exactly what he knew so she could figure out her lesson plan. Making it clear she couldn't help with technology made it easier, and this way, he didn't expect her to teach him.

Getting comfortable, she waited for Kas to answer.

"Most people don't notice it, so I'm not surprised you didn't. The Force allows me to see, and I don't need as much support as I would if I couldn't use it. That's something I can teach you as well, if you'd like. How to see through the Force."

Some people were aware of it, while others were not. She wasn't sure if he did or not, so she would offer that as one of the options.

Objective: Training with Jairdain

Kas went with Jairdain to go sit on the couch with her and thought about having some refreshments. Best learn and train with something consumed not get distracted by hunger or thirst. Nodded his head in being up for some drink and food.

"Sure I'll take some refreshments." Kas answered the Jedi Master's question.

Watched Jairdain sit down on the chair opposite from the couch that Kas was settled upon. He was listening to what the woman had to say while being inside of this office. He reflected on what abilities he had learned and continue to practice in the Light side of the Force.

"Well. I have learned and practiced quite a number of abilities in the Force. Telekinesis yeah. the basic branches surrounding that category. Art of Movement is another one." Kas mentioned.

He paused for a few moments while recalling back to his Jedi training and other studies of the Force he has underwent so far.

"Empathy and Meld, seem to have developed those with my twin sister and younger brother. We learn and train together majority of the time inside Jedi Temples, etc. Been able to draw into enhanced sensing abilities Sense itself and Precognition." Mentioned more abilities to Jairdain.

It seems he has learnt and uses quite a few of the basics and some abilities that were advanced but not too advanced for seasoned Padawan Learners or Apprentices within the Jedi Order.

"Tracking being something I'd use to help with investigations. In my training of Djem So and Ataru forms. I've used and learned Art of Movement and Enhanced Attribute. Times when needing to be hidden from others I used Altus sopor mask my presence in the Force." Kas added.

Kas knew technology subjects wouldn't be learned or taught with Jairdain. It was time to advance and progress in his abilities in the Force. It seemed Jairdain was capable, more than, to do the teaching and training that many would sought after.

"Able to use Blinding, a Barrier make some getaways when in tight spots and needing to flee when it got too much for me to handle alone. I've had to learn Resisting Stuns some abilities like Stuns to the body are effective but not on my mind. Speaking of minds I have had to use Mind Tricks to defuse some civilians from getting out of hand and co-operate better."

He was comfortable and by the way time the order of refreshments was brought out and over to both Kas and Jairdain. Kas will consume what's available to feel ready and focused on the training that the Jedi Master had in mind.

"Oh lastly been able to Telekinetic Bursts as well. Breaching doors and all sorts to gain entry. Not used it against individuals yet thankfully. Using the Force to see? Huh interesting I'd like to learn that too." This mentioning of Force Sight did draw Kas' interests.

Kas smiled and was open to all the learning and training Jairdain can provide to him. Ironically, the Force had guided him to Jairdain in progressing more in using the Force.

"If it is alright to ask. Were you... Well, are you a Jedi? Don't recall a full introduction about yourself. You know quite a bit about me so far. Works both ways if you catch my drift."

Unsure if Jairdain had introduced or fully revealed her alignment or ties to any Force sects in the Galaxy. He was hopeful that she was a Jedi Master. The way her impressions towards him so far led him to believing she had a tonne of experience behind her. Kas would be respectful of such.

Dvyqx9E.png

Items were ordered for both of them, and while Kas was answering her, they arrived. The food was simple and nothing complex. It would also keep for a few hours while they talked. Her drink was water, and she hoped that was acceptable to him.

As he spoke, Jairdain made mental notes on his knowledge. Most of it was what she would consider fundamental skills, with a few additional ones thrown in. As she processed the information he gave her, she made some facial expressions, but remained silent as he spoke. Things took time, and her question covered a broad area. He gave her what she needed to know, and that was what mattered.

"You're fine. I'll answer any questions you have for me."

Smiling at him, she hoped it reassured him. If he could read people through the Force with his empathy, then he would know she was speaking honestly.

"My name is Jairdain Ismet. I am a Master in the Silver Jedi Concord. I grew up beyond the Outer Rim and found my way to the Silvers when I was eighteen. A year or so later, I was involved in a mental duel with a Sith lord. That put me on their radar, and they captured me, took me to their capital, and held me prisoner for over a year while they slowly corrupted me."

Falling silent for a few moments, this gave him time to ask anything if he wanted before she continued.

"Their corruption failed, and I returned to the Silvers. Of course, they kept me under surveillance for a while. They didn't need to, though. After they were positive I wasn't under the influence of the Sith, I was given full freedom. A ruler on this planet hired me to be a consular for her son, and I've been here ever since."

Leaving out some details, everything she said was true, and she would clarify as needed to provide further information.

Objective: Learn and Train with Jairdain

When the drink and food was brought to the office a smile appeared on Kas' face. He appreciate simplicity over the fancy delicacies one can consume and use. Taking a cup to sip the cool water that satisfied his thirst Kas nodded his head in thanks when it was offered to him.

Once he said his piece to the Jedi Master it was time to take his turn in listening and absorb what information was being shared with him. A look of interest appeared on his facial expression.

Passively his Force Empathy did pick-up that Jairdain was honest which led to Kas being reassured.

"I'm sorry that you encountered the Sith that led to captivity Master Ismet." Kas said.

There is was. The compassion that came from his mother and it had carried over to Kas. In hearing Jairdain faced a Sith Lord and captured by them to endure horrors left emotions inside of Kas.

A fist slightly curled then clenched but he relaxed it. What was done was done. He will learn and train to stop that from happening to others where and when he can. The young man's eyes lined back up to watch Jairdain speak. He listened.

"The Silver Jedi Concord? This is the first I have heard of them master. Hmm. What happened to them?" Kas asked. Another Jedi Order that he has learned about inh is journey as a Jedi.

With the mentioning that one of the leaders in government had requested Jairdain to be a consular for their son. Now that was something peculiar when Kas heard about that detail.

"A ruler of Commenor requested you to consul their son? Why? What happened back then to lead you being here to now?" Kas was just curious - respectfully as he was learning about Jairdain.
