The position had been a surprise and in the wake of the events that had transpired - that being the attack upon the leadership of the Commenor Systems Alliance - there was much to be desired and needed in the way of the Security Forces on Commenor. She had her own plans to fill in those gaps, including the relocation of one of her own corporate offices. She had managed to find a fairly completed and otherwise empty office building, closer to the Senate Hall than the previous office of the Head of Security.
Doors hissed as they slipped open, the woman stepping forward accompanied by two armored individuals at her back. A small smirk crossed her lips as she slowly scanned the room before stepping forward, her attention moving out beyond the window at the far end. Her golden hues falling upon the Senate Hall of Commenor as her smirk remain upon her lips.
"Much better..."
She whispered to herself before stepping forward, her hands reaching up to remove the helm from her brow. Setting the heavy helmet down with a slight thud upon the desk.
"Ma'am?"
The two individuals with her spoke in near unison.
"Remain outside the door... standing orders apply Knights..."
She spoke, her back to the two armored individuals whom in turn saluted before pivoting - both moving to their commanded positions just outside the doors - otherwise leaving Amelia alone in the office. She stepped back from the large window, her hand coming to rest on the back of the seat before pulling it out slowly.
A soft sigh escaped her lips as she slipped down into the chair, her eyes closing for a moment...
