Every now and then site staff holds a competition - people can make rank bars and some of the ones made are added to the mix. Once they announce the next one, you can make or ask someone to make yours, and put it in the hat

It is very unlikely that a rank title contest will occur anytime before the site migration and upgrade. Once that is out of the way, we'll be in a better position to give you more details and organize another competition.
In the mean time, there's plenty of commando tags floating around if I recall. Nothing stopping you adding it into your sig so you can feel all shiny boy special.
