SHe looked at her. "THanks." With a grin though in jest. She had her saber and that was usually all she needed... she was the more diplomatic jedi and knew how to wield the force to a greater effect as she was looking over all of it. The information in her mind and preparing herself for the two of them to really face the challenges that would be presented in front of them as a united front and blady blady blah heart of the cards... stuff like that. She didn't want to get to long winded but she was also looking to really build up her own skills and see what they would be able to discover if anything about this so the jedi master geared up for a lengthy fight with some power bars and her canteen just in case.

"It is no problem... come to think of it I need to create a new lightsider sometime soon, my current one does well but a certain redesign that uses the hilt as a gun was something I wanted to make". Even as a force users fire arms were one of her most used weapons in combat, mostly used against certain targets or just when you wanted to kill something more then 10 meters away. Getting back to the meal at hand it seemed that the two were quickly polishing off the remaining servings on the table, it seemed she was hungrier then expected. "You certainly have a talent for cooking Wu, you should teach me some time, I'd appreciate the skills".

"Ah but if I teach you then what else would you need me for?" She said ti with a grin on her face while she was walking and wrapped her scarf around her neck with a look on her face over at the display. Her ship was moving in and the automated systems were feeding all of the information to them so they could get through. Wu was watching it though as she was prepared with Kurenai. "Well making a new saber or at leat an improved saber is always a good thing to do. I know I trade mine in to get it repaired for the reflec material on the outside of the hilt for undercover work." She didn't always need a new one but well replacing the coating, or the synthetic crystals that made it silent were important.

“Company someone to do missions with, you’d be surprised by how small my friend base is”, such almost none distant if all things were considered. “Yes I have heard that you are close with sasori, best place in the galaxy to attain lightsaber based goods and other items, always having that extra boosting part to make the blade or hilt that little bit better”. “Perhaps I will have to look into them, my new saner design is quite the tricky one if I had to say anything about it”.

Wu gave a nod as she thought about it and. "Yes they do have some of the better pieces of equipment for lightsaber ccomponents. If you really want to make things something powerful. I know they are working on a few other components for a lightsaber mostly circuits to be immune to cortosis and they have already made ones to function underwater and in different environments." She grinned though finished up and ready to go and face this off before she started heading back towards the cockpit of the ship. THe Karokoa was going and then she felt it. the ship being pulled from hyperspace along the path that would get them caught and pirate ships were in the way preparing to board them as she moved towards the airlock. "It is almost showtime."

Kurenai gave a small nod as Wu talked about all the different things in light savers these days. Times sure had changed, her own current lightsaber made from second hard parts and other items being a testament to the advances in such an area. “Well if that is the case I may have a custome saner that could turn a few heads... and blow them off at the same time”. She let the small commen hang in the air before going on. “As you know Wu I use fire arms just as much as my saber and pole arms, but I was thinking of putting the two togetherness”. “Such being a slightly curved slug pistol that also served as a hilt for a saber, but be used both at the same time”. A weapon that would be deadly in the hands of a skill fighter such as herself.

She was looking at her and gave a nod as they could move towards the airlock and the doors opened. The first of the pirates coming through as they appeared. Leather armors and mismatched pieces sjhowing they hadn't really a uniform just what they might be able to find. Wu was movign to the side to let them get in a little more before she stepped out and pulled at the first ones weapon to dislodge it from his hands. Getting it to come back to be before slicing it and the jade colored blade appeared in a snap hiss of energy and power with the radiating energies of the force itself. THe inth metal felt warm in her hands before she was checking out some parts of it and moving back into partial cover to see the rest of it.

Leaving the pleasant talk behind Kurenai prepared herself for the coming combat, grasping her saber hilt as the two force users stared at the door, the feeling of a threat coming from the other side. Well how much of a threat the simply armed pirates could be, Wu easily dislodging the first assailants weapon before slicing it in half, graceful and peaceful like all Jedi. Taking her own initiative Kurenai stepped forwards the end of her saber extending to form it's stun baton like weapon, electricity crackling from it's beskar tip as she slammed it into the closet pirates chest before sending a force push, making the man tumble over, taking a few more with him.

Moving with her and seeing Kurenai... while she could say something or have some idea of what to do... she wasn't going to lecture, one reason was she knew the jedi wasn't for everyone and the other was because well some people didn't want it and found something that worked for them while still maintaining the core values that made them a good person... Kurenai cared for her children. So she moved quickly and swiftly allowing the blade to slash across another blade before she pushed him into the wall with the force denting it and giving the impact to knock him unconscious. THere was something dangerous here though as one of them came out quickly from their ship with a sonic rifle and she ducked down low.

The incoming shot from the sonic rifle nicked the side of Kurenai's body, she had just reacted in time but managed to steer clear of any major damage. With a quick flick of the wrist she called her side arm into hand, sending several shot into the men holding the weapons before diving behind cover, "well they certainly have some nice fire power, nice to see somewhat of a challenge".

Grasping a container of some sort Kurenai sent it down the hall with another force push, only for a blinding light to encompass their attackers, giving them a few seconds to advance without worry. With quick reflexes Kurenai barreled down the hallway, delivering a short kick to the closest pirate, following up with a two inch pucch to the next and a swift elbow to another, downing those in the immediate area, putting her CQC skills to good use.

Wu was watching her and moved as she weaved through the cover and was getting closer working to avoid the sonic blasts but the blaster bolts she could deflect and a barrier to redirect the slugthrowers. SHe couldn't do much with the sonic but her saber functioned until the jedi master ducked under seeing the container fly down the hallway and impact into a pirate. THe sounds of more coming when her ships internal security mostly locked down the doors to keep them here in the hallway. Wu spun around batting a blaster bolt into a sonic rifle when she motioned for Kurenai to move forward with a look on her face of some excitement at that... she was enjoying this for the most part so far.. they were able to make some progress without a risk of others.

She would have to ask Wu about that fancy light saber once the fight was over, a blade able to repel sonic blasts was certainly an eye opener. Following her directions Kurenai kept her side arm raised, for the moment the immediate area was clear of tangos, most knocked out on the floor or running back to more defensive locations. "Hallway clear, don't sense or smell any danger nearby but keep frosty, what is our main objective? I presume this is sort of a blind run? or have you got a map of this place in your head and an idea of troop numbers"? Not that it would matter much, she would be then happy to sweep the entire area, room by room and flush out every single pirate they came across.

"Well I have a map of this place." She said it as sort of a joke since they were still for the moment on her ship but heading there down she didn't have an idea where to go. "Ah communications should be first fi we can keep them from talking with each other or accessing security." SOmetimes there was the two close together" we can isolate them and keep them from coordinating themselves." She was moving and allowed herself to move with the saber itself and her scarf was around her neck going in a dash behind her like her hair. She ducked down low and came up using the force to propel herself up kicking off a wall as she pulled a blast from another pirates blaster coming at them.

She didn't really pick up on the joke, herself in full 'mission mod' though the tactic on hitting the communication center did get her attention. "Divide and conquer, that I can do, perhaps the communication room also has some sort of tracking device that will allow us to find any strangers". Now they just needed to find the control room, which no doubt would be defended with a reasonably sized force, "you give directions and I'll take point, unless that saber of yours has any other nifty tricks up it's sleeve". Even with their strengths in the force and her tank like build a closed hallway was always a death trap waiting to happen, ambushes, traps and bock houses could and probably would become a common occurrence if these pirates had any sense of intelligence.

Hmm her saber did hav e a trick or two as she tossed it as one of the blasters coming around a corner to slice it in two then pulled all three pieces back towards her. Letting the blade spin around to catch the back of the pirates leg severing a tendon that caused him to fall down to one knee. Wu grabbed her saber in the air and twirled it to deflect another blaster bolt back and into the wall before she took cover. Being prepared to protect herself while looking for the communications rooms or for some of the directions that they would be able to use. She didn't know if they would have a chance to grab one of the pirates, ask him and then restrain him while they were possibly being shot at. "It has a trick or two but not much."

"A trick or two can be what decides life and death on the battlefield, my own saber's little baton extension has done wonders in certain instances that could have left me with a 'human' mortal wound, be good to make sure such tricks are always on hand and unknown to your enemy". Rounding a corner she sent two slugs down range, entering the barrels of some enemy pirates, causing their regular blasters to explode in hand, sending them scrambling back. "I think we are getting closer, the amount of enemies nearby has been getting more intense as we go on, their weapons and armor also seem to be better quality, I wonder if there may be a rouge force user among them too, could make for an interesting fight".

Wu looked at her and surprises were always good she imagined... though as she moved the saber itself was going around itself. She twirled and deflected blasts back while going in and spoke. "Perfect, if we are close then we shall stick together and move quickly." She couldn't sense a force user but that wasn't proof of something or nothing... she was in combat and if there was one then he wasn't here yet. Wu moved dropping down for a moment force pushing one of the things into a wall and he dropped down onto two that came through the doorway. "THeir armor might be better then we thought but their weapons are thankfully basic and more the bulk order kind." Where she was looking as they had a chance to move and get into the communications room. "Are you any good at slicing?" She was curious as the other way was go kylo on it and just slash it into slag

She kept in close step behind the Jedi master, taking her saber in hand an igniting it for the first time since they god on the vessel, "slice, yes I can, you don't get to be 800 without knowing how to hack some things". That and it was apart of ParthFinder training, most Knights had to know the basics of slicing hacking and other stealthy skill for missions. The two eventually made it to their destination, Kurenai sending a strong force power down he hall way, people and caver being flung into one another. "You know, I keep forgetting how strong I am in the force" herself thinking back to the times when she ripped star fighter out of the sky and use asteroids to take out a gunboat when fleeing a pirate attack. Kneeling down her hands went to work on the door control panel, "simple security, nothing fancy, though the usual 'if your try to force it open the things will explode', typical pirate operations".

Wu looked at Kurenai when she said her age and gave a nod of her head. If she could slice itno it then she would and could defend her while the jedi master was moving with her attention on the rest of the area. "THen stick with it and get us a map... or open the locks so we can move around quickly.... or whatever might be useful." She said it deflecting a shot back and around a corner with a deflection. Her hand sending out a force wave while she focused and opened one of the doors pulling a crate to smack oen of the pirates in the shoulder and send him into the others near him firing off the shots.

She gave a confriming nod to the Jedi while working her way into the system, "no problem just keep anything from hitting me in the back, I am strong not invincible". She could regenerate and wore strong armor, but even still a well placed blaster bolt to the head of heart would still kill her. Reaching down she plugged her armor HUD system into the control panel, downloading a map of the shit while working on the locks, a red flicker on the screen going green followed by the shifting of the door to their front and the areas around. "Doors are down but maps still downloading, just a few more seconds".
