Collecting Dues (Ashe The Reaper)

Aedan Miles sat in his office on an undisclosed planet in Mandalorian space. This planet housed the base of the Red Legion and today Aedan was sending a bill to [member="Ashe the Reaper"] in regards to the recent assistance he lent to the defense of Coruscant in which she destroyed over four million credits worth of his property. The message read as follows.
To Ashe the Reaper in regards to the orbital bombardment of Corsair ships this fee is required of payment to the following account. The payment is of 4,560,000 credits payed within a timely manner.
The account that followed was of course one of MANY alternate accounts the young man had and the minute that the money was in it a wire transfer would begin sending it to another account bouncing along various accounts until it finally found its way into his account where it would be safe and secure.

Ashe was surprised to get a message over the HoloNet from Gods-know-who, though it was ironically the same individual she had the luxury of nearly dogfighting back on Myrkr. They claimed to be charging her for damages, but by all accounts, the reports made no mention of allied craft being shot down by a ground assault. The foxtress couldn't discern it from a scam. Higher powers were left to address it, as the girl wanted no part in extortionists and e-scammers.
Dear Corsair Representative,

We regret to inform you that your petition for compensation for lost assets has been handed down to RRDI's legal department for further investigation, and will be addressed by the Techno Union Executive Council post-haste. Telemetry logs and battle reports from the vessels in question have been delivered to us. If your claims are found invalid, no fees will be transferred to your accounts. Any information or evidence on the matter should be delivered to our offices immediately.

Sincerely,
RRDI Executive Office
Ashe could have easily payed the man, [member="Aedan Miles"], tenfold his request, but she wasn't going to throw money away to some scammer without valid justification, even if 'shutting them up' and being left alone was worth the expense. Extortion was a serious crime. That said, she went on about the rest of her day.

Aedan looked at the reply and chuckled darkly as he reached out pulling the recording from one of the pilots helmets as he linked it to the message responding promptly.

Oh Ashe you know who this is and I am more then aware that it was your ships that fired on the position my ships were assisting with reinforcing. Later after farther research it became obvious that the rain of death was ordered by you. Vessels lost in that attack from my side are as follows. 12 Dread-class light fighters 310,000 credits apiece and 2 Tra'galaar heavy shuttles priced at 420,000 credits apiece. Now I wish to keep farther business between us calm but I am rather pressed for cash so I am unable to restock the ship that these fighters came from. If you would merely assist me with restocking my ship I would greatly appreciate it and completely forget about the incident.
Aedan sent the message adding his signature to it as well. He hoped that this situation would not require any farther action from him but if it did he would merely deal with things in a different method. [member="Ashe the Reaper"]

The sort of thing was only to be expected from a 'pirate lord.' In fact, this was more than just a scam, as it wasn't Kalestat fire that took down any aircraft - the entire event, as usual, was taped and submitted to debriefing which clearly showed all ordinance touching down with the planet's surface, but an opportunity for not one but two upper hands.
RE:
Dear [member="Aedan Miles"],

After discussion with out represented client and approval from the Chairwoman of the Board, RRDI is proud to sponsor compensation and is preparing a generous donation of exactly 5,000,000 credits to your organization. The Mand'alor, [member="Gilamar Skirata"], has been informed of this donation to help replace units lost in the protection of Galactic Republic forces and we hope future relations between our valued clientele and your organization will be prosperous and mutually beneficial. Funds will be wire-transferred once recognized and approved by the Mandalorian government for legal purposes.
Sincerely,
RRDI Executive Office
(Signed by the Executive Board)

Aedan saw the message and let out a bark of laughter as he calmly replied.

To Ashe the Reaper. I thank you very much for this assistance but the notifying of Manda'lor is unnecessary as these were not Mandalorian forces in this fight merely Aedan Miles personal troops and ships. That is why this payment is required to replace these missing vital instruments for his duties.
Aedan sent the message and then stood walking away from his desk to go finish his duties. [member="Ashe the Reaper"]

As stated, the money was quite the load and wasn't going anywhere without executive approval. That said, tagged or "dirty" money, it wouldn't find its way into the man's account without first being bugged, so that Ashe and the rest of the Executive Council could see exactly where the money was going to post-delivery, and for what. It was a double-win for Ashe and vital insight into a potential threat's operations, which was a small price to pay in scope.
The man didn't get a reply. He didn't need a reply. He didn't deserve a reply, as far as Ashe was concerned. He wouldn't get his money without the Mandalorians first knowing what their 'esteemed General of the Red Legion' was doing with it on his spare time.
With everything said and done, and a closure being forwarded from RRDI by her daughter's office, Ashe went to a bar to go sip on a tequila... or whatever equivalent they had in the Galaxy Far, Far away, as she wasn't too sure. Sure, she'd have trouble getting into the bar looking like a tween with an identity crisis, but her ID proved that she was, in fact, 57 and an immortal vampire as well... for better or worse. After all, vampirism wasn't a crime in the known galaxy.

...But then Ashe felt guilty and forwarded [member="Aedan Miles"] the donation money anyways. It was totally probably the liquor. Besides, the Mandalorians would still be notified, and donating to Mandalorian allies proved she was more than just eye candy or a tag-along.
