STRENGTHS

• Bullet Hell: This custom model possesses an even higher rate of fire than the stock model, able to put out a dizzying amount of firepower in a very short time.

WEAKNESSES

• Aaaaand it's Gone: Despite this custom model's larger magazines, the higher rate of fire often cancels this out. The magazine can be emptied in seconds if the user is not careful.
• Kicker: Cobalt's WSS pays for its lighter weight with higher recoil, and it takes a strong arm to keep this weapon on target.

DESCRIPTION

A highly expensive customized WSS, this weapon was given by the Helix Privateers as payment for a past job. It is an improvement on the standard model in nearly every way, featuring increased rate of fire, range, damage, and accuracy over stock examples.

Each part is forged using molecular bonding techniques, greatly increasing the WSS's already excellent durability even further, and an included suppressor ensures quieter firing when in operation. Likewise, it comes with larger magazines as standard. Like the stock model, it can be used one-handed if need be, though its greater recoil means that accuracy will usually suffer greatly.

This greater recoil comes about as an unfortunate consequence of the weapon's lighter weight, and as such it can be particularly difficult to keep on target, especially when used in one hand. This issue is exacerbated further, as the double-edged sword of the WSS's blistering rate of fire is worsened even more on this model. Incautious use can see the weapon emptied near-instantly, rendering the user vulnerable.

Nonetheless, when properly used, this small slugthrower can punch monstrously above its weight. Its larger Helsteel slugs can riddle even the largest of junkworld mutants with holes, and its increased stability over the stock model (particularly when its wire stock is in use) renders it more controllable in the hectic confines of a close-range firefight.
