- Family Steel: True Mandalorian Steel is peerless in strength and quality. The plating, while thinner than usual, still offers superior resistance to most types of weaponry.
- Superior Chiss Technology: The Chiss have always considered their technology to be superior to most others. As such Cleru has integrated his culture into his armor. The most prominent example being the Charric wrist blaster.
- Fractal-Pattern Armor: This stealth system makes it almost impossible to see the wearer and helps to block sensors that could usually detect stealthed individuals.
- Light: The Fractal-Pattern requires light to work. If the light changes too much, or there isn't enough, the system won't work correctly. Bright flashing lights can damage the crystals and render the system inoperable until repaired. Excessive damage to the system will have the same result.
- Gaps: To keep the suit light and easy to move in as his training needed, Cleru had to put in many gaps in the armor. Beskar is very resistant, but it doesn't protect what it doesn't cover.
- High Tech: Given how many systems are in place with this armor a strong EMP or Ion blast can render most of the systems useless.
Cleru's Beskar'gam integrates the Chiss technology he's known all his life and the traditions and symbolism of his late wife's culture. After her death in the invasions that ended the United Mandalorion Clans he had retreated to himself, refusing any assistance or compassion from the surviving Cadera clan. All he knew was his wife, and the twins that they had been blessed with, were killed. It was the darkest time of his life, unknowing that his children had survived. It was by chance he met with the Clans again, and the realization that his children were alive and well changed much.
He chose to become a full Mandalorion and abide by the teachings his wife would have raised their children with. It was only fitting that her armor was reforged to become his second skin. Wearing the suit had brought him the closest he'd been to his family since her death.
The suit is made with the Fractal-Pattern the Chiss Commandos have been known for. The Crystal and Reflect Polymer system allows Cleru to blend into his environments by changing patterns and colors to match. It stops many sensors from being able to realize he's there. On top of this he has included the Charric weaponry his people are known for in the form of a wrist blaster, as well as sensors to connect to his various Charric weapons that aren't built into the suit.
Snow blue was the color chosen. He belongs to no clan by choice, and thus uses colors to represent his heritage of Csilla. The suit is of course thermal insulated to keep him warm even in the coldest environments. When he does join a clan the colors will still remain. He was always a Chiss of the Ascendancy, and even though his life has moved on from them he will never forget his past. It was because of the Ascendancy he had met his wife to begin with.
