- Being of the citherion species Clarke has a genetic immunity concerning mind-centric Force techniques;
- Night-eye allows Clarke the vision to see clearly in even the darkest of areas;
- Even as a young man, at 25 years old, he is capable of being moulded into whatever his superiors see fit;
- He is inexperienced with the role of captaincy and can be naive with regards to the workings of the wider galaxy;
- Due to the genetic evolution of night-vision, Clarke must adorn goggles designed specifically for his species to avoid retina damage during times of high solar (or other) visibility
As is not typical of his species, Clarke's colouration more resembles that of baseline humans which has, so far, allowed him to blend in almost completely with the rest of the human population. It is however noted amongst these humans that he does not possess the standard ear shape - them being more pointed than human ears - and his eye colouration is often a shock for many despite heterochormia iridis being a natural genetic abnormality among humans.Due to a large majority of his life being inducted into the Morellian Academy for Naval Excellence, Clarke has taken style of clothing that the academy allowed him: uniform. Naval officer uniform, to be more specific. There are few times where he is seen out of uniform and if such an occurrence is spotted, he is usually nude.
A citherion out of touch with his roots, born and raised on Morellia with his closest family and those who, to his knowledge, are the only ones left alive: father, mother and sister. His sister was plucked from the family, with acceptance and happiness, by the Order of the Jedi due to her natural gift with the Force. He never knew her, and only knew of her through holographics retained by his mother and father following her departure for the Galactic Republic.While his father was a typical citherion: highly independent and capable of his own thought, Clarke did not appear to be the same in the early years of his life. While this freedom-loving that almost all of their species adored, it was not genetic. He was a follower, born to take orders from the very first day he could walk. Through his innate requirement for leadership beyond his parents, he requested to enrol at the Academy for Naval Excellence on-world at the age of seventeen as an aspiring-officer.
Since passing through the Academy he came to be known as an optimistic and capable young officer, displaying a good sight for tactics and was even better at being obedient. It is only recently that Clarke was promoted to the rank of captain and given command of a starship.
