Clarification on the Clause rule with materials

http://starwarsrp.net/topic/80608-phridium/

The above new material does not contain anything phrik related. Nor does it have much of the benefits that comes with Phrik. Because of its lacking and subpar "phrik" likeness it doesn't require the clause to do a restricted material development thread.

  • chemically similar to Phrikite in its composition, it was not the same
  • causing it to share properties with Ciridium, Bronzium, and Duraplast as well.
  • It has a very high thermal/energy resistance, making it excellent for protecting against blaster bolts and other similar energy weapons. Phridium is NOT Light Saber resistant like Phrik
It resembles more like a bit stronger than duraplast but subpar and short on anything that Phrik can do. I see it more being just fancy sparkly Duraplast.

In Comparason to what requries the clause.

http://starwarsrp.net/topic/78482-cortosis-weave/?hl=%2Bcortosis+%2Bweave

This is basically cortosis weave, what you get after you've worked with Cortosis. Now this is the product that is plyable for armor making etc. This is being sold in a market place, this steps over the mining / gathering of cortosis because you can basically just "buy" the cortosis weave read to patch onto your armor.

This is a restricted material, this is a restricted material that is being sold as weave. This is something that requires the clause to remind people that there still is a restricted material quest that goes with Cortosis. This item was meant to circumvent the restricted materials list, which is why the clause was put into place.

Just a clarification on this whole matter for the newer judges. Any questions please shoot them to my PM box or ask here. I'll do my best to provide an answer that is fully understandable. Thank you!
