- Medical Diagnostics: As an advanced medical AI, the program is capable of rapid assessment and recommendation of treatment based on data provided or obtained. This extends to applying treatment if put into a position to do so.
- Computation and Analysis: As an AI, the program is capable of sifting through mass amounts of data and complex calculations faster than a human or any organic species could hope to achieve.
- Full Integration: The AI’s chip can be inserted into a plethora of devices and work its way into controlling whatever devices may be connected. For instance, in Sterling’s Armor, it would have access to his AR HUD, Datapad, and anything connected to it. In a computer, it might gain access to cameras, turrets, etc.
- The Chip: The AI can only function when its chip is inserted into a device.
- Easily Broken: The chip may be easily broken, and while Clan Tal has backups of the programming this doesn’t change the fact that with a broken chip the AI is completely non-functional.
- Not Designed for Hacking: The AI is not designed to hack into new systems, requiring other programs or more creative means to gain access. IT’s certainly more capable than Sterling is, but being more capable than someone who spent most of their life never touching a computer isn’t exactly an accomplishment.
- EMP Devices: If within the confines of a non-protected environment such as an average datapad or computer system, EMP or Ionic bursts can disable or destroy the program, depending on intensity.
Peach is a specialized AI created specifically for the purpose of assisting Sterling Kinslayer in his medical and survival endeavors. Created at the behest of Clan Tal’s Alor, Peach is filled to the brim with information on most known medical procedures and qualified in assisting in an informative role in the application of said procedures. It also has prioritized all known information on the proper health states of a healthy Komo such as Sterling, specifically Sterling, to help the man return home safely.
Knowing that simply helping Sterling in a medical capacity and in annoying him periodically to stay safe for one reason or another wouldn’t be enough, the AI was also given programming to assist in his information gathering techniques. Since Sterling can only watch one screen at a time, the AI was further designed to sift through information and analyze it for him while he focuses on other tasks. In the event he could not bring the AI with him, it was put into an advanced, removable chip that can be installed in most standard devices.
The last touch was designing the program’s aesthetics. Knowing he valued his instructor’s input, to maximize the chances of him actually listening to the program’s advice the voice and personality was, for the most part, based on Tal’s Alor Taozi Fuyuyan herself. Though its sentience has deviated the personality somewhat, due to its sole focus on Sterling, its general voice and tones have stayed the same. Listening to the teacher is easier than listening to a robotic monotone after all.
