New Faction Clan Shakti

OOC.
The Call
If you are a Mando'ade without a clan you are invited to join Clan Shakti, either through Rp or Backstory. We are currently looking for both Mando'ade who would have been brought into the Clan by Sevine Shakti, or would like to be brought in as adults by Garou, and Foundlings who might be in need of a home. We do not discriminate on your past, nor do we look down on those who other Mando'ade might revile, but instead welcome all to learn The Way.

IC.
The History
Clan Shakti was founded three generations back by Sevine Shakti, when she came of age after her foundling training. She was a born a Dathomirian Nightsister and wanted to build a home that would be welcoming to Mando'ade who were formerly tied to groups that others might find unscrupulous. Upon her death in the Sith Invasion of Mandalore she passed the mantle of leadership to her first foundling Furor Shakti who himself died defending what he had deemed to be foundlings who were slaves being transported to work on Dantooine. Due to unfortunate circumstances his only surviving Foundling is Garou who has taken up the mantle of the Shakti'Alor, and is now intent of leading in accordance with Creed and Catechism, and also the ways set forth by his forbearers.

The Ways
Members of Clan Shakti follow their own code in addition to the Creed and the Catechism, these precepts were the teachings of Sevine Shakti and have been passed down through the generations.

1. Forget not the Night from which you were born.
Members of Clan Shakti especially those not born the Mando'ade are to remember not only their Mandolorian heritage but also the heritage that afforded them life in the first place. While this does not mean that they are to follow teaching that conflict with The Way they are encouraged to follow the heritage with which they were born in such as they are in accordance with the Creed, Catechism, and The Ways of Shakti

2. At The Heart of Every Mando'ade is but a Man
Members of Clan Shakti are reminded that no man is above reproach, even should a Mandalore arise with the Dark Saber in hand they are not above the questioning or indeed the good of the Mando'ade or the Clan.

3. Only in the Darkness of the Night Can One Truly See the Colors of the Forge Steel.
While members of Clan Shakti are not Sith they are reminded that whether it be general countenance or the use of The Force itself, the Mando'ade are a people of passion, pride, and war. Therefore they are reminded not to let their blades or their hearts be dulled by the teaching of those that promise peace and serenity in the Light.

4. Seek Out the Foundlings Which Others Would Scorn
The final teaching of Clan Shakti is to welcome those who would be looked down upon for their heritage or even their past. Sevine Shakti was known for welcoming apostates and heretics of other orders such as the Jedi and the Sith in with open arms and taught her children to do the same, as she often noted that it was only by being taught that one could ever know The Way.
