[ Clan Kryze ] Answering for a Schism

Summit 7, Mygeeto
Mandalorian Crusaders Space

Daeron had long been the Alor of Clan Kryze. Albeit being a smaller clan and flying under the radar until recently, it has been thrust into the spotlight with rapid advancements from the new self-proclaimed Alor'ad of Clan Kryze, [member="Titan Kryze"].
Though the newcomer had submitted to Daeron as Alor, he had not conducted himself as so. Daeron had become the Alor in name only, with Titan becoming the de facto Alor, making all the decisions unilaterally.

That ended today.

Titan Kryze's behavior would change, or he would not be a Kryze at all. The decision was his to decide. In the wake of the uncertainty of the outcome of this challenge, one thing was for certain.

Clan Kryze belonged to Daeron, and to no one else.

"Prepare the armada.", Daeron ordered of his leftenant. With an astute bow, his order was to become reality.

Holding his datapad, a holographic image of himself emerged.

"I am Daeron Kryze, Alor of Clan Kryze. My clan has been bastardized and sold to the public, freely recruited outsiders, overwriting everything I have done for this clan. No longer. Though he has submitted to me as Alor in every way but practice,Titan Kryze has all but usurped my authority." With a static flicker, he continued. "In the name of Mand'alor [member="Ra Vizsla"], I summon Titan, the false Alor of Clan Kryze to Mygeeto to answer for his actions. I denounce him and attaint him, strip him of all rank and titles, and properties and possessions branded with the name 'Kryze', pending the outcome of his trial." The message then changed tones, to directly address Titan. "You have 48 hours."

Undin had just received a message on his holocron regarding his good friend [member="Titan Kryze"] . It was about some kind of trial. He was a bit confused, he though that Titan was the leader of clan Kryze , it seemed otherwise.
"Thar, clear my agenda. We are going to Mygeeto" he said to his pilot. "What about my Mailoo fruits Undin? You promised a fresh batch of them.".
"Well, I don't think we can find Mailoos in Mygeeto, whatever that is. Anyway I promise you the finest fruits after we finish this , ok? I think I need to save Titan's ass.". "Do not forget", said Thar to Undin in a serious tone.
Oh yes, Thar Kmel loved his Mailoo fruits. They are his favourite, but today he had to wait a little bit longer.

He then gave an order to Thar to jump into hyperspace.

Titan was on the bridge of the Duchess of Mandalore, his flagship, when the transmisson came. Apparently Daeron, Alor of Clan Kryze, had finally resurfaced, but had not looked upon Titan's actions the way Titan hoped he would have. While Daeron was gone, Titan had better brought up Clan Kryze Shipyards, and had armed the Clan for the oncoming crusade. Countless ships had been produced and he, Titan, had been willing to bow this whole time. Yet Daeron had been missing for months, the rest of the council had nominated him to be a Warlord, leader of them until Daeron returned. And now that time had come, Titan would bend knee to Daeron and if the ideals and such of the Clan changed Titan would change with them. "Return the transmission, tell Alor Daeron we are going to Mygeeto now." Titan told the bridge officer. "And gather our forces, it is time to show our mighty Alor what we have acomplished in his absence." Titan said the words without sarcasam, he fully meant his words, Daeron was a great man. The countless Echoy'la class starfighters, Starbird Class Heavy Interceptors, Redundance class corvette's, Corusant class corvette's, the Erogeg class drydocks Titan had purchased, but not yet deployed, the Freedom class space stations, the Captivator class cruisers, and the Finisher class cruisers. All entered the system, some hangars packed with M.A.P.-D5's or speeders. All these, other than the Erogegs, had been designed and built in Daeron's absence. Not to mention the asteroid ships yet to be put into action, those would require more funding. Titan's ships jumped into hyperspace, towards Mygeeto.

Walking gracefully down the stairs, Daeron had walked to his office without feeling much of a burden as to what would happen next. Clan Kryze was rightfully his, after all. Did he really expect a fight to begin on his doorstep? He hoped one would happen. Normally he sought to avoid needless violence - but any violence that would ensue wouldn't be needless.

He had mobilized the use of the Blackstone Group's Security Forces and hired the additional assistance of Shadowline's Tregessar Security Forces as an auxiliary, in the event they truly were needed.

He hadn't even made it to his office when he received word from his leftenant. The troops were staged and ready, and radar detected several unknown signatures in orbit.

"Bring them to the great hall. Post a few Slingshots outside in case his ships decide to try anything funny.", Daeron ordered of his leftenant as he bowed once more to carry out his bidding.

He redirected himself to the same location his guests would be meeting him. With a simple chair of some grand elegance seated atop a small set of stairs around it, about a dozen Blackstone soldiers took post behind the chair, with another six spread out in front of it. Though he wasn't one to shy away from a fight, the very presence of force was enough to intimidate those not accustomed.

He took a seat and crossed his legs. Though he had never personally met this Titan Kryze, he was curious as to how he would present himself. For his sake, he better leave a good first impression, or he might not be leaving at all.

Thar's ship had just left hyperspace and was landing in Mygeeto, when he got a transmission to land the ship outside this facility and then go to the Great Hall of said facility. Undin said to Thar "Stay here, I don't want you involved.". Thar nodded and as soon as he left the ship he was greeted by a man he had never met before. The man said to come with him and Undin followed him.
After some time walking, Undin entered a room that was filled with guards and the man who sent the holotransmission was seated in a chair surrounded by guards. He was told to sit down , and so he did.

Titan walked into the room, flanked by his elite guard, he saw Daeron sitting down in a chair. Titan's men were probably better trained than Daeron's, but less numerous. Titan also had a larger, more powerful, fleet. If it came to a fight Titan would most likely defeat Daeron. So most would think Titan would fight, instead he bent knee before his Alor. "If you are not satisfied with my actions, Alor. At least let me justify them. You disappeared from the galaxy for months, that I and the rest of the Alor'ad spent searching for you. During this time the Clan fell into darkness. Some of our members were joining our hated enemies, the Death Watch. they were terrorizing Mandalore, the raid on the station above is a prime example of that. As such the Alor'ad created a new position, Warlord, fir me fill. I lead the Clan back to greatness, the members of Death Watch were not punished but welcomed back with open arms. I journeyed with the Dar'maanda sitting in the seats around us." Titan gestured to [member="Undin Jaii"], "He helped me lead the Clan's shipyards to greater proficency. We have ships in development, powerful ships. I have a fleet that could probably destroy yours. Easily. But I have no wish to fight you, rather I now bow to you. If you wish to change any of the Clan's polocies I shall change with them. All I ask, is that you let me stay in the Clan, rather than banish me from Mandalorian space forever. I bow before you today as a servant, not an enemy, if you punish me I shall perform it." With that Titan stood, and waited, his tanks were outside. If Daeron wanted a fight, he would get a brutal one.

[member="Daeron Kryze"]

Titan had arrived, answering Daeron's call. His call though seemed to have extended far past just Titan, as his armed entourage attempted to create an imposing presence. Daeron was itching. You don't show up to a trial to pledge fealty and then threaten those you pledge fealty to.

Uncrossing his legs, Daeron leaned forward, looking down on Titan who had bent the knee, swearing himself to Daeron. Titan sought to explain himself, and Daeron sought to hear his explanation.

After his lengthy justification, Daeron nodded subtly and slowly, processing what Titan had just told him.

"Do not take me for a fool, Titan. Do not try to justify your laziness in failing to find any existing members of Clan Kryze before claiming the mantle of Alor for your own." Daeron breathed a heavy sigh before continuing.

"You want to know what upsets me, I suppose. Aside from your unilateral decisions, you say you have welcomed dar'manda and Death Watch terrorists into the Clan. You have used Clan Kryze's name in private business ventures. You have shamelessly advertised our clan over the HoloNet. And that is just the beginning."

"You say that you submit to my authority as Alor. If you stand by that, your entourage around you...", Daeron said as he waved a finger at the armed men behind him. "They're mine."

This was just the start. Saying the words are one thing, but living by them is another. This was Titan's first true test.

[member="Titan Kryze"] | [member="Undin Jaii"]

Undin watched as [member="Titan Kryze"] humilliated himself for a man, that seemed that got tricked by his local barbershop that his hairstyle was in. Undin even chuckled a bit. Maybe a bit too loud. And what is that dar'manda stuff he heard all the time. He was called it the first time he met Titan and now he heard it again. As of so he got up and asked "Could someone explain to me what the heck is a dar'manda?"

Ignoring Undin Titan continued, he would not beg. That was below him. "What Death Watch members have I welcomed into the Clan? If you mean the Clan members who joined Death Watch in the chaos following your disappearence, they deserved a second chance. They sook out order and found in Death Watch. The Dar'maanda, the outsider, I welcomed only numbered one. Daeron, you should know this as well as I do, my father, the Alor before you, founded the shipyards. I continued his work. I searched for you for months, even after the council had given up hope, I searched for any more experienced members of the Clan. And I only laid claim to the Alor'ship of the Clan for less than a single day. Before your message found its way to my reciever, after that I repealed my claim to Alor'ship, and awaited your arrival. Preparing the Clan for Mand'alor's crusade. If you wish to kill me I will fight. But you are right, my men should obey you above all. And if they are Clansmen, they will." Titan picked his gun up off the ground and pointed it at the ground, "I bow to you, but only so long as you uphold the ideals of the Clan. If you refuse to listen, I will leave and return to the olden ways of the merecenary. But if I hear that you have died, I will return in my rightful capacity as Alor'ad and vote for the new Alor."

Daeron stared blankly at the man who continued to kneel before him. Before Titan's mouth opened, that of his companion did. Shifting his glare to the young one, he answered his question. "Dar'manda is nothingness. If you do not follow the ways of the Resol'nare, you are dar'manda. Soulless, ignorant of your heritage. Some regard it to be worse than death." While Daeron appeared lenient in answering, inside, he was irked beyond reason. Clan Kryze didn't know what it meant to be dar'manda. Clan Kryze was less Mandalorian now more than ever.

"I do not doubt your heart is in the right place, but I have serious concerns about your head.", Daeron started.

He stood from his chair. There was a visible tension in the room as he raised, his guards prepared to aim and fire. What followed though, was not that. "Come. Both of you, and both of you only.", he instructed.

Daeron walked, and with him, his leftenant and an entourage of six armed guards. He walked down a short corridor and turned into a conference room. The room was bright, lit with natural light, amplified by the snow topped mountains. He took his place at the head of the table closest to the window. His leftanant took the one to his right, with his guards separating into two man teams. Two posted at the doorway exterior, two at the doorway interior, and one on either side of Daeron as he sat.

"Today, you shall witness the rewriting of clan history."

Titan stood and gestured for his men to follow. "What, may I inquire, do you mean?" He walked just slightly behind Daeron. Titan had simply wished to return Clan Kryze to its Clone Wars era greatness. Four of Titan's men accompanied him, two sat behind him and two others went wide at the door. Titan took the seat directly opposite Daeron.

[member="Daeron Kryze"]

Daeron sighed. As Titan asked for further explanation, Daeron pointed at the man's escort. "You all. Out.", he ordered. The guards accompanying Titan obeyed, as Titan said they would in the great hall.

"'Clan Kryze Shipyards.'", he began. "I will not take it from you. It is yours. It will not use our clan's name, however." This was just the first change, and probably the most minor. Daeron would not sit idly by while his clan brother would bastardize the name for personal gain. He didn't buy the 'any publicity is good publicity' argument.

"Second, you style yourself Alor'ad. That ends today. You will call yourself Alor'ad when you earn it and I will it. Coming here is your first test passed."

"Lastly, membership of Clan Kryze is to be exclusive and it is to be a privilege. You may continue to recruit, but not everyone recruited will be allowed membership. I will grandfather your friend in...", he said, looking to Undin. "But that is all."

"Agree to these terms and you may call yourselves a Kryze. Reject them...well, you'll see.", he said with a sadistic chuckle.

[member="Titan Kryze"] | [member="Undin Jaii"]

Undin followed [member="Daeron Kryze"]. While they were walking he whispered to himself in a mad tone "Nothingness...You'll see nothingness".

After hearing the words that came from Daeron he said in a more amused tone "Thanks, I will not dissapoint you".

"Fine." Titan would need to think of a new name. MandalHypernautics was already taken. Kind of dissapointing really, it was a catchy name. "But I hope that I can continue to supply the clan with weapons for free, and make use of the Clan resources available to me, such as the datafiles we posses?" Titan nodded at the second part, he no longer needed to lead the Clan if Daeron was back, he was fine being back at Warrior, for now. "I accept your terms. And, by the way, if you had not returned. I would have led our Clan back home to Kalevala." It was the truth, he had planned to greatly increase the Clan's influence there. It was the planet they had come from. "I hope that what I have done will be useful. If that is all, I have pressing matters to attend to, like renaming my company."

"But I hope that I can continue to supply the clan with weapons for free, and make use of the Clan resources available to me, such as the datafiles we posses?", Titan asked.

With a curt nod, Daeron consented. "You may."

It was surprisingly easy, having Titan submit. He would make a good soldier. Titan rose, announcing his intention to leave and begin attending to some of the business Daeron had given gim.

Closing his eyes shortly, Daeron nodded. "Go."

And with that, Daeron was now the official and uncontested Alor of Clan Kryze. Under his guidance, Clan Kryze would rise to prominence with that of the larger clans. It would be recorded that Clan Kryze's rise began today.

Undin wanted to talk privately with [member="Daeron Kryze"] , so he stayed after [member="Titan Kryze"] went , looked at Daeron and said "What are your intentions with the clan?".
Undin didn't know if he could trust this fellow, he was misterious and sure did like to show his power with all of his guards. That was a bad measure.
Didn't he know that that is how the Sith went down? Becoming too thrusty for power?
Anyway, Undin wanted to strive for greatness aswell, but he didn't need any pesky guards or anything else.
He then kneeled to the ground and said "I will serve you and only you , my Alor".

Titan obeyed, leaving Summit 7 and setting forth for his next adventure. The newcomer though, had one more question before he followed suit with Titan. Daeron was already displeased with allowing him in the clan, now he was pushing his luck asking Daeron questions he was better off wondering. Daeron understood the lad's concern, though he really didn't care to play mentor.

"Clan Kryze is a great clan. I plan on keeping it that way.", he answered cryptically. As he did, the boy repeated what Titan did when they first met. He bent the knee. Though the gesture was appreciated, it was unnecessary. "Rise, boy. You may go also.", Daeron dismissed him.

Daeron had some work to do.

[member="Undin Jaii Kryze"]

Undin rose , turned around and left the facility. He wasn't sure about [member="Daeron Kryze"] , he felt like someday or another, he would have to stick a saber in him. As he left the facility , he saw Thar waiting outside the V-Wing. Undin got on the ship and Thar immediately told him "We're going to Ryloth , to pickup my Meilooruns.". Undin sat down in the co-pilot chair as the ship took off. He didn't know if he could trust that man. Anyway there was nothing to do now.

/End of scene/
