Civil War: The Last Mandalorian | Mandalorians OOC

These events take place a day after the events of Sundari.
When Ra and the Sundari Death Watch arrives at Cold Iron, the city is beset by war. While the main contingents of the Insurrection and Death Watch were busy in Keldabe and later Sundari, the North has been constantly under siege.
It is late winter, and the Sun is barely visible, leading to short days and long nights. Snow covers the ground and crews have been unable to do their work to clear it, leaving most of the labour left to each individual army.
Death Watch arrives, still battered from the fight at Sundari, but forced to lead an assault to secure the Mountain Fortress. where the Cold Iron Death Watch has maintained a strong hold over outskirts of the City.
However, the Insurrectionists had secured the Spaceport early on in the war and are deeply fortified, giving them a strong advantage and control over the downtown area of Cold Iron.
However, much of the city remains contentious and battles break out daily.
Due to the snow, the streets are not well suited for a battle and/or vehicles. Aerial assaults are the most tangible, effective strategy here - and both sides maintain a strong line of reinforcement to carry them out.
Other notable POI (places of interest):
  • The Cantina lies in the middle of the city, and has been shut down for some time now due to being unable to maintain the peace.
  • The Old Mines - Stripped of beskar, this crumbling old mines serve as a secondary point of fortification for the Insurrection.
  • The Courthouse - Hasn't seen use, but notable for it's brilliant stone architecture and the beskar statue of Mand'alor The Preserver.
  • Museum of Cultural Arts - Houses several significant paintings to Mandalorian culture, but has been raided several times during the Civil War and Death Watch has been unable to stop it.

This third and final battle in the trilogy will be going up the evening of Wednesday 1st November EST.
As before, the same rules apply. Keep salt to PM's and if you are unable to resolve any issues, please come to myself or Ra and we will help settle it for you.
Please make sure you tag your location.
This is going down in my books as one of the best mini-events I've ever taken part in. There has been minimum drama with both sides communicating and looking to write great stories and it really does show. Thank you so much for joining the hype train and getting behind [member="Ra Vizsla"] and I to make something that's been a joy to both write and read. I can't wait to see what you can come up with in the last battle.
Oya Manda!

Did someone say Mandalorian Force User? Because that's what I heard and why I'm showing up!

On the serious note though, I plan to show up to do some not a part of either side story telling. Got a plan for some preservation and humanitarian stuff... kind of.

[member="Yasha Mantis"], [member="Gilamar Skirata"] wants to take on a pup... shall we dance?

Seriously though Gil, I’ve been enjoying reading your contributions. I’d toss Kad at you but [member="Artemis Lux"] made me promise to keep him alive until she gets back from her wedding irl!

I could be convinced if you’re okay with the fact I won’t let him die or suffer major injury until her writer gets back.
