Under unknown circumstances the command structure of the Holy Order of the Righteous Flame (The Harbinger and Circle of Cardinals - Nine Senior Knight-Commanders) have been killed. To what ends or reason for this is still unknown.

In the wake of their deaths, Amelia has become the sole Senior Knight-Commander of the Order with the mantle of Harbinger falling to her. Rather than continuing the Order as it is, she has decided (while at the funeral of the previous Harbinger) to reforge the Order into something else; an organization that is not focused on purging Force Users - rather focused on maintaining Law and Order within the Free Worlds Coalition and Commenor Systems Alliance.

This thread focuses on that decision and the subsequent founding of the newly christened Knights of the Pyre...

The Fifth Moon
The fires crackled, the wood snapping from the heat as the embers danced upon the soft breeze. The woman stood silently, her eyes upon the figure that lay upon the pyre. The Harbinger, a woman that had lead the Holy Order of the Righteous Flame, now lain low of unknown causes. Along side her were the bodies of those Knight-Commanders that had been with her, the other leadership of the former monastic order. Golden hues remained upon the corpses as they burned, though from the ashes something else would rise.
For a while her own views had been changing and even she realized that the Holy Order as it was would not survive. They could not remain the staunchly anti force users they had become. Nor could they survive with the mentality of pursing all of the force users; an ideal that she had become further from with her more recent dalliances with a certain force user.
Others remained, those that had seen the change coming and decided to weather the storm. Their banners torn and thrown upon the pyres to add to the kindling and roaring flames. There were others still though that remained true to their original cause and refused to take part; thus she understood that in the future she would find the ghosts of the past revisiting her...
Remaining silent, she waited for a few more moments before stepping forward, holding the last banner in her hand, she looked upon the emblazoned eternal flame. A soft smirk crossing her lips as she understood the very act that she was about to perform. Holding it firmly in her hands, she took one last look before her hand shoved it forward, the flag fluttering in the wind in one last defiant death rattle before it was engulfed in the flames.
"The Harbinger is dead and with her the Holy Order of the Righteous Flame passes on. Those that have stayed shall be reforged..."
She thought to herself, knowing that those handful that had remained were those most loyal to her. Even her own personal guard remained, standing at her back, ever vigilant to any threat that could befall the elder of their kind. Offering a silent bow of her head, Amelia stepped away from the pyres, the breeze whipping around her, causing her jet black hair to dance upon it before she pulled her helm back upon her head.
As she stood at the cliff face, her golden hues peered out across the waters below, already her mind was focused on what would come next. Feeling the hand upon her shoulder, she looked to her old friend.
"Knight-Commander Braxis, I am pleased that you had been at my side rather than the Harbinger's mission. Though this presents us with an opportunity to reforge the order and take it in a new direction. We can not remain focused upon purging the Force Users from the Free Worlds, nor should we."
Turning her attention back towards the sea, she smirked again. This was the ample opportunity to claim the leadership of a new order, forged from the ashes of the old.

Kay-Larr

Sphaera Tea Company Owner
Kay had just returned from a little retreat to the Estate that her husband had built for them. She needed the break, they both did, and even though it was just a few days long, each moment wasn't wasted. She got to rest, watch holo-movies, cook and read; all the while Veiere was working on making her some light armour. And of course they shared some quality time together not as King and Queen, but as husband and wife. There was a certain pride in there too as in a few months they were going to be parents.

Now Kay was in her office at the Royal Palace, catching up on everything that she's missed. However she had some help with her assistants [member="The Slave"] and [member="Kirie Ito"] to cover the slack. Delegation was key in reducing work stress and that was just one of the advice that her doctors had given her.

There were many messages on her datapad. She skimmed through who sent them, pausing only when she came across one from [member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"] . Kay raised a brow as she opened it and read it. Amelia had another idea to help protect those within the Systems Alliance space? How interesting. Kay typed up a respinse and sent it:

~Miss Amelia Sorenn-Syrush,

Sorry for the delay, but I wasn't in town. What is this idea of yours? I'm intrigued. Would you like us to schedule a meeting?

Please let me know as soon as you are able.

Kindest regards,

Lady Kay Arenais.
High Queen of Commenor Systems Alliance.~

His mother had sent him here why he didn't know and all he could really think of was that he wanted to be off riding his swoop. She had said something about duty, and learning, and some thing something but he had stopped paying attention and only heard blah blah blah blah blah.

"got it" He had nodded making her happy that he had listened. Then they shoved him into a ship with a detail. Then here he was. Yep.

Yep.

Wow.

The Recopia System, were there even people living out here? Guess so if his mother sent him...right? yep.

He stood with his thumbs hooked into his pockets rocking back and forth.
