Not open for further replies.

Name: 'Shredder' anti-infantry mech
Intent: To create an upgraded version of an older idea; to create a mech for CIS.
Development Thread: N/A
Manufacturer: STRC, once <-- is approved
Model: JSM1 'Shredder' Anti-infantry walker
Affiliation: CIS
Modularity: Weapons can be switched out for heavier, smaller firing-rate cannons
Production: Mass-Produced
Material: Durasteel, thin plasteel plating against small-arms
Description: The Shredder mech is an old idea revamped for optimum performance. While easily destroyed overall, it is fairly cheap to mass-produce. It is capable of overtaking infantry, which allows it to achieve its purpose. Its small size allows it to be overall ignored by larger vehicles, but if they were to pay attention, they would have no trouble ripping it apart. Therefore, a remote piloting system was used, to conserve pilots. This allows for less casualties, but comes at a cost of reflexes, or EMP troubles.

Its two weapons are very capable at tearing through waves of infantry, and two are more than capable at taking down an AT-ST. Switch out for the cannons, and you get an annoying sting in your heavy tanks. However, its light leg and joint armor makes it liable for enough flak and debris to cram the joints full of gunk, effectively paralysing it.
