  • Structure Name: Circuit
  • Classification: Nightclub, Lounge
  • Location: Nar Shaddaa Promenade
  • Affiliation: Elizabeth Sabine Castille
  • Accessibility:
Circuit is a nightclub located directly within the central Promenade sector of Nar Shaddaa. The club itself is accessible through two entrances within the Promenade, which is in it of itself very accessible. Though one of the 'nicer' parts of Nar Shaddaa, the club is still located on one of the most dangerous moons in the galaxy. Once someone gets past this however they will find that Circuit is incredibly easy to both find and reach.
  • Security:
For a place on Nar Shaddaa Circuit has a surprising amount of security. Guards stand watch at both of the clubs entrances and two automated turrets linger behind those. Heavy blast doors are also located on both side of each entrances and cameras watch everything very carefully. Air ducts, windows, and all entry points are all monitored and alarmed. There are also several scanners located within the entryways as well.

Men, women, and whatever else comes into Circuit are required to give up all their arms. Knives, blasters, and even lightsabers are collected, tagged, and placed in arms lockers that are well guarded. This security measure was put in place to keep Circuit as a neutral 'meeting' ground for members of the criminal class, ensuring the Club is safe from everyone outside as well as in.
  • Description:
Circuit is the prototypical nightclub.

There is not ostensibly unique about the location or even architecture of the club itself. Bright lights, numerous bars, and a very large dancefloor are all things that can be found in all corners of Nar Shaddaa. Circuit isn't even really the 'nicest' club on Nar Shaddaa.

Instead what makes it so unique is as a meet up point for various criminal dealings. Due to weapons being checked at the door by security everyone knows that those who enter Circuit are completely unarmed. This makes the club a perfect place for criminals to meet, exchange goods, and generally have a good time without worrying about getting shot. Circuit doesn't seek to be the best club on Nar Shaddaa, just one of the more safe.

Dance Floor: The largest part of Circuit is of course it's dancefloor.

This section of the club is unsurprisingly what most people use to occupy their time. The music that blares loudly throughout the club sounds out and the people move to the rhythm. The concept of a dancefloor is neither unique, nor really notable in a club such as Circuit. The only special thing about this particular point of interest in Circuit is the multitude of lights dancing upon the floor. Each panel of the floor lights up in different patterns and movements, shining brightly and causing much distraction if stared at for a little too long.

Like in other nightclubs, Circuit's Dancefloor is entirely open to all who enter, though it's almost always packed.

Alchemy Bar: Though Circuit contains several different bars throughout the entire club the most unique is probably the Alchemy Bar. At this rather interesting little portion of the club one is able to create a drink with a little bit more...personality.

A series of machines along the wall at the back of the club serve as this locations bar tenders. Each of the machines are stocked with an almost countless amount of alcohols, and using the devices one is able to craft their own unique drink suited to their taste and passions. One can create anything from Tatooine Sunrises to something that has never been seen before. The Alchemy bar is a big draw for Circuit, though patrons have complained it is somewhat pricey.

Chem Bar: As one might perhaps expect from a place like Circuit, stimulants, spice, and other drugs are not uncommon within the club itself.

Due to the notoriety of the drug trade on Nar Shaddaa, and well aware of what various additives can do to customers, Elizabeth decided that instead of allowing people to bring her own drugs to the club, she would provide them. The Chem Bar within Circuit provides various forms of spice and stimulants, all of which are purchasable in their purest form.

As one might expect the Chem Bar is rather expensive, though the added assurance of a clean product is often more than enough of a draw to most people on Nar Shaddaa.

VIP Area: The VIP area of Circuit is one that is most favored by the criminal elite. Though it is hardly as popular as other places, Circuit has quickly made its way into the heart of certain Syndicates and gang members.

Located on the second floor of the building and cut off by means of a Ray Shield, the VIP area is dissected into various private rooms separated by Opaque barriers. Each of these rooms has a large table, a sofa, and some chairs. Of course service by various waiters and waitresses is swift and always accurate. The VIP area is catered to with perfection, and one can make almost any demand and see it done.

Lounge: Perhaps unexpected by some, Circuit also contains a large lounge constructed into the back of the club itself.

The Lounge is exactly what it sounds like. Placed away from the dancefloor, bars, and all the noise within the club the Lounge is a calm area where one can rest, relax, and simply hold a conversation. The Lounge is furnished with various comfortable chairs, sofas, and tables. Waiters and waitresses will still take drink orders within the Lounge and bouncers will eject patrons whom are causing a disturbance.

Unlike the rest of Circuit, The Lounge is meant to be a place for calm.

Circuit is a relatively new fixture within the life of Nar Shaddaa.

The club itself was founded by Elizabeth Castille after her stint within the Shadow Syndicate. The young Underlord failed to achieve her desired goal of vengeance for her family, though said failure brought on a realization that would prove to be far more profitable. The young woman understood that though her family had controlled much political weight on Anaxes, such things were petty and ultimately unimportant.

Anaxes was but one world, in one sector. It had influence but nothing more.

Coming to this realization allowed Elizabeth to grow, and her families connections with the Shadow Syndicate and their large amount of wealth gave her the access to enable that growth. Upon her attendance to several larger criminal organizations Elizabeth slowly began to push herself up within the Underworld. The Shadow Syndicate had been good to her, but ultimately their goal was not her own.

She broke away from the Syndicate and began to set her sights on something new. Within a month she had moved herself to the ultimate hub of crime within the galaxy; Nar Shaddaa.

It was here that she used her families wealth to buy herself a modicum of respect. Purchasing a large piece of Nar Shaddaa's Promenade she tore down an old and musty nightclub, rebuilding it into something new, modern, and far more exciting. Inside of a few months 'Circuit' opened for business.

Quickly the club became recognized not for it's luxury, modernity, or anything of the sort, but rather the 'safety' it provided.

Requiring that all people who attend the club relieve themselves of their weapons, Circuit quickly became a defacto meet-up spot for others. Deals between rival Syndicates, swoop gangs, and even individual criminals were quickly found to be conducted at Circuit. Though not in anyway a central hub of crime on Nar Shaddaa, Circuit nevertheless offers a convenient place for one to go when meeting with strangers, mostly because you're guaranteed not to get shot.
