[SIZE=9pt]Naturally a creature needs to protect itself. After searching for a suitable armor, Darth Ledgermayne instead discovered Tynzo. A crystalline material located on Isobe thats purpose originally was for the reinforcement of starship glass to embark the process of hyperspace. Tynzo naturally was dense enough to survive the impact of entering hyperspace travel which made it the perfect choice for the Sith Lord to use the crystalline mineral for a new layer of protection. Now for any armor smith the process of using such a material in practical armor would be incredibly difficult. There were many routes to choose from but in the end this new and improved layer of skin was completed through earth-shaping. As a natural material the Sith lord was easily able to merge the Tynzo crystal in a layer over his own body. He dubbed this new layer "Chrysalis Skin" and further enhanced this new found skin with the addition of a chemical known as [/SIZE]Absorbital. A chemical that protected materials from blaster fire and other known plasmas. The new skin layer altogether was designed to be a fierce defense against known conventional weapons such as blasters and kinetic launchers. Naturally the crystalline structure makes the Chrysalis skin resistant to water diluted acids. These liquids would merely slide off the structure with little to no vital harm. As for a concentrated amount of without dilution, the acid would eat away at the crystalline material at average pace. With no resistance to Ionic energy, Sonics pose the most threat as a high enough source could fracture the crystalline skin and cause it to weaken or break outright. Simple sonics such as high pitch sounds would be of little use against the Chrysalis Skin but a sonic charge or Geonosian sonic weapon of the like would be devastating against it.

Tynzo is the only material the "Chrysalis" is made of and as such has a incredible resistance against Kinetic and physical attacks due to its extremely dense structure.
