I was pretty surprised that Cryax had recovered enough to strike back, but he did. A swipe at my torso that I was barely able to dodge.

"It's just as well that you missed, or your hand would probably be on fire right now."

I extinguished the flames on my skin, and grinned.

"Nice trick for parties, though."

The Chiss smiled. He was much more relaxed now that he was getting accustomed to the physicality of fighting. He was starting to like this charismatic, smart-alecky creature. Back on his home planet the smooth bastard was probably swimming in ladies.

He had to admit, he was enjoying sparring more than he thought he would. He had always detested Alpha males, but maybe they were just guys like him who were addicted to the feeling of pure, animal adrenaline.

Cryax shook the sweat out of his hair and took the battle stance again.

"I'm ready for you, hot stuff. And this time don't hold back."

Well, the Chiss male was fast, she would give him that. And not bad at thinking on his feet, either. When it was their turn to spar she would have to keep that in mind. But as she both felt and saw his crimson eyes looking up and down her body Kadrak smirked and rolled her eyes with a shake of her head. He would think what he wished, she supposed, and little to nothing would change that. As long as he didn't try anything she was content to let him look, and say, what he would. But for now there was their little mock fight to observe. She would concern herself with him later.
"You're fast, Cryax, that much anyone can see. Keep putting that speed to good use and you won't have to worry much in a real fight. But we'll see how well you fare when he decides not to go easy. Because I can assure you I won't be holding back either." She flashed a half-smile and a wink.
