SPECIAL FEATURES
- Durasteel plating on areas with major organs.
- Insulated armorweave to defend against lightning and EMP based attacks
- Lightweight to avoid interfering with the wearers movements.
- Blaster Resistance: First and foremost the armor is built to resist blaster fire, and more importantly protect the wearer against Charric weaponry.
- Insulated: The armor is insulated again to defend against Charric weapons effect on metal armor, as well as other lightning based attacks.
- Saber Resistant: The Norris Root provides some defense against glancing blows from lightsabers, but direct strikes will cut right through.
- Light: While it's effective against blaster fire, it's still thin plates of Durasteel. Sustained fire and high powered shots will blast through it.
- Limited coverage: The durasteel plates don't cover all of the wearers body, leaving arms and legs mostly unprotected.
The Chiss Ascendancy Viziters are Chiss and allies who are force sensitive and use their gifts to help the Chiss military. As such, they have some distinction in their rank and utilization in military engagements. The armor was made with the intention of giving this unique order a signature armor style so they may be recognized by friend and foe alike.
Durasteel covers major organs with plates on the chest and back, as well as the forearms and shins. Armorweave covered with Shellspider Silk covers the rest of the outfit, with Norris Root dye used on the cloth robe often worn outside the armor itself. It's a simple, but effective armor that the Viziters wear with the pride of their rank.
