Intent: To create an outpost, in which visitors to the Chiloon Rift, may meet with the resident Warlord of the system.
Classification: Naval Station
Location: The Chiloon Rift, in a space cleared of atmospheric debris through the use of Dovin Basals in the Warlords Subjugation of the System.
Affiliation: Primeval Warlord Zambrano
Population: Hundreds of personnel with basic common armaments for Primeval forces in space
Defenses: The base is well-armed, given that it is a refurbished Hutt Asteroid Station, with 2 laser cannon batteries, 4 turbolaser batteries and 2 concussion missile launchers in addition to considerable hangars for fightercraft and an inbuilt shield generator.
Points of Interest:
- Docking Station: A place where small vessels may make a landing into the command post, such as star fighters or yachts.
- The Throne Room: A closed off section of the asteroid where the Warlord resides, when present on the station. It possess a Throne of Thorns, much like the one present on The Thorn. Additionally, it has a variety of different vong based fauna and plant life as imported from Kad V along with his surgeon, Uvek Tar. Such fauna include the Kadian Dalek-Killers, personally shaped by the rogue vong shaper.
- The Armory: A huge section of the station, dedicated solely to provide soldiers with their weapons and armors.
- The Warlord's Armory: A dedication section of the Armory, solely to the Warlord himself. This holds such malignant devices as his paralytic barbed whip, and rusted vibrosword, or whatever else he may accumulate over time.
- The Directory Command Center: The one section of the station, totally dedicated to the five members of the leadership within the Warlord's domain, where strategy is discussed and debated, and decisions made.
- The Staging Grounds: A dedicated section of the station for any troops in training within the system... or perhaps, a number of slaves being conditioned for nefarious purposes.
- The Furnace: A place, modified into the station, dedicated solely for organic waste disposal... after all, in the presence of Zambrano, bodies had to be taken care of quickly by the clean up crews...
Description: This is the command post for the Chiloon Rift where Zambrano the Hutt, the resident Warlord, organizes his domain within the portions of the nebula he controls. A refurbished Hutt asteroid Station, the creation of the military outpost a simple matter of acquiring an undamaged pirate asteroid from which they could take and make their own.
History: When Zambrano the Hutt began to purge the system of pirates in order to approach the heart of the Chiloon Rift, it was soon realized that this was no easy task. It was clear that the Directory could not rely on a command structure that had no centralized location in which to rally inside a system with no definite bounds. Since they were clearing out pirate bases one by one, eventually it was settled that at least one of them would become their headquarters for this system, especially when meetings would need to be made in the system, where it may be inappropriate to be hosted aboard a ship vessel.
Additionally, they needed to make sure they had a place where the Warlord would be comfortable without the immense powers he could abuse in piloting his vong ship at all times. Thus, several luxuries were brought aboard so as to ensure that Hutt would remain relatively calm.
