Chillin'

Now that set me off.

Taking my Beskad to teach me a lesson. Sure I could deal with that. But throwing it? Well lets just say that I almost turned into a Super Sayan Level 5. My entire body shook as he knew that after this training I would go after the Beskad whether he wanted it or not. Once the man stopped speaking. I let loose.

The Training lightsaber flared to life in its white brilliance. I didn't care if Crystal was going to try and stop me. If I had to I would throw her with my bare hands all the way to Courscant if I had to get her out of my way. I didn't say a word. Only allowed myself to be powered by the anger that rushed through my veins.

I rushed the man. And before Crystal could come and try to attack me I sent a wave of blue cracking lighting here way as I torpedoed to the Sith Lord. Bringing my saber backhanded across his chest followed by an uppercut.

No matter the pain that might ensue, I was absolutely pissed that he threw my only weapon. If I could, I would throw him with Crystal to Courscant as well.

Crystal blinked as Zoey decided to use Force Lightning on her. Bad move. She had nothing to do with throwing away her weapon. Taking it out on her was a really bad idea. And now Crystal was irritated. Irritation leads to anger. Anger leads to people getting hurt.

Her solution was to inflict pain. The pain would be crippling in Zoey's mind. Then it would shoot down the back of her spine. And it would last and last and last. In her mind, she would hear Crystal's voice.

~You should have stuck to your lightsaber.~

Cameron had returned to where his crimson-bladed Sith Sword was still planted into the surface of the ice. Even as Zoey's rage swelled inside of her and pushed her past the point of effective decision making, he remained stoic, silver-green eyes merely watching her. It was [member="Zoey Marix"]'s attack on [member="Crystal"] that caused Cameron to remain rooted - not even a fiber in his body flinching. He knew Crystal better than anyone else alive, and he was quite sure of how the woman would respond.

For his part, the Sith Lord watched to see how Zoey would respond to the situation. Her method of distracting an opponent in order to gain the upper hand on another was a good one, but she'd forgotten that simple was often better. For instance, a telekinetic wave of force energy may very well have thrown Crystal off blance or even into the water depending on how adept Zoey was and masking her intention. Further more, it would have effected Cameron too - leaving more room for her to close the distance and engage with her lightsaber. The problem with more and more complicated force attacks was, for one, Cameron and Crystal had infinitely more experience than Zoey. She would not prevail in a battle of Force knowledge or control.

For two...Zoey was a touch to inexperienced to wield such a power as Force Lightning with her intended effect. The Sith Lord knew not who had even taught the woman at such an early stage in her training, but they were basically stupid. Everyone always wanted to learn the light show without truly understanding the depth of conviction required to wield it effectively. Channeling the raw power of the dark side into a physical and offensive form required giving...a great deal of yourself. In fact many who used the ability to frequently had a tendency to deform their physical appearance from the sheer amount of power that poured through the wielders body.

Cameron, by comparison, had practiced for years before using it in any real application, and that hadn't exactly ended well. "Feed off it, let it empower you, but do not let it control you." Those were his words of wisdom to Zoey to escape her present predicament...or at least manage to pose an actual threat to the woman. Cameron had only seen Crystal genuinely upset a handful of times. It wasn't something he prefferred to endure.

Oh was I not ready for a mind attack. Even in my rage, I was stopped cold in the smack center of the ice that we three stood upon. Reaching up to my head and bending backwards trying to release the pain that was all down my spine. And well, I could not even do that. There was one thing that I had learned, and that was to use pain that was afflicted on me as a form of power or energy. My first master that I had been with during my Time with the Sith Empire before it fell into ashes, Taught me such as well as lightning and Choking people with the force. She was warped minded herself and wanted me as well.

That was one of the reasons that I left. As much as I knew about Force Lightning, I knew very little compared to others. Only because I rarely used it. The last time that I had used such a dark power, was when I had pierced into the spine of a 10 foot sithspawn's spine with my beskad. Using the lightning force to burn and electrocute the nervous system for it to finally die.

And well, that was only a half an hour before I was Knighted by the Aesir Neth. Now it was not very good as I could not even make a strike at the woman. and well, it had not gone over well. I grit my teeth as i spoke, tasting blood as I had bitten down on my tongue. "Haph two mess witht my mind don't you?" My words not correct in context.

[member="Cameron Centurion"], @Crystal

Crystal had only just begun, and already Zoey had lost control of her mind and body. The Sith Princess had proved her point with the crippling attack. The young darksider was very much outmatched by Crystal and Cameron. However, she was not finished teaching. There were many more ways that Crystal could inflict pain upon Zoey. Starting with demonstrating the appropriate use of Force Lightning.

"I don't have to no. But I'm especially gifted at it." She stopped talking, and released her own lightning from her finger tips on Zoey's already vulnerable nervous system. It was only about thirty seconds, but it would probably feel like forever. When she stopped, she spoke again. "I'm a woman of many talents. Would you like to see more of my talents or are you ready to get back to work?" Crystal tilted her head and waited for the woman's response.

[member="Cameron Centurion"] [member="Zoey Marix"]

And once more pain flowed over me as the cracking energy of the dark side of the force bent and warped over my body. However, the pain was not as much as it could have been. I absorbed the power of the darkside, but not of my own will. I was wearing by Leviathan bracers. I remember putting them on under my coat to help keep myself warm. but they served a secondary purpose. Inside the leather bracers, was a single bar of alchemized metal along the knuckles on each hand. They would absorb any lightning, be it of the Dark side, or from the light side verson of Electric Judgment, and allow the energy to be used as a form of a small explosion with my next attack should it be with my fists.

To avoid the idea of it looking as though I had not been hurt enough, I allowed myself to cringe as though I was actually being electrocuted on the ice sheet. Crying out in pain and falling to my knees as anyone would do when hit with a high powered form of the force from a Master. I could feel the ice begin to melt under my knees and soak up in my pants. When it was ended, Crystal spoke of being a woman with many talents, as well as asking if I wanted to continue down this path, or work as I was intended to do.

I turned my head as best I could with my teeth clenched, "We can continue to work." Even with us having to work together now, does not mean that I saw her as a friend or a companion, but as of this moment, I saw her as a bitchy teacher that had the idea of "its my way or the highway." "What is it that I need to do."

[member="Crystal"], [member="Cameron Centurion"]

Crystal smiled. "I'm glad we can focus on the task at hand. We came here to train you with a lightsaber. It's easy to fall back into what's comfortable, but how can you get comfortable and proficient with a lightsaber if your instincts are to fight without it? Your instincts are to be retrained. That is why we are here."

She tilted her head. "Can you do this or not?" The Princess was not teaching in the method that Zoey thought, but she was serious when it came to training.

[member="Zoey Marix"] [member="Cameron Centurion"]

Cameron watched the ongoing exchange between [member="Crystal"] and [member="Zoey Marix"] in silence. The Sith Lord was not, generally, one to interrupt a peer when they were...occupied. Life amongst the galaxy was very simple. Sentients were only divided into two groups; those with power and those without. While Cameron could certainly appreciate confidence and an aggressive tenacity when it came to training, he was never overly impressed by such. In a training situation, it ended up being entirely counterproductive.

As Force Lightning washed over Zoey's body, the Sith Lord was struck but one thought. The young woman was a completely terrible actress. Completely. Whether Crystal actually bought the act or was just moving along because she didn't care, Cameron couldn't be sure. Needless to say, Cameron did not have time to screw around. "She cannot, clearly."

The emotion in the Sith Lord's voice was even, almost uninterested. Focusing his gaze on Zoey, Cameron exhaled heavily. "Though it has nothing to do with your combat prowess, obviously. The problem lies in your control. You have none." Harsh assessment, but if you didn't have absolute control, you had no control as far as the Sith Lord was concerned. "This isn't worth my..." Briefly, Cameron shifted his gaze to Crystal before settling his silver-green eyes back on Zoey once more. "...our...time."

The lesson in Cameron's words was not to simply accept failure, to quit. Regardless of what anyone told her, the woman should fight for what she wanted until the very end. If she could prove her worth as a student, Cameron might well be inclined to proceed. The action she'd just taken against Crystal was not a problem for him. If anything, he liked it...right up until the point where it gave her the over-confidence to make several tactical mistakes.

I looked at @Crystal. Seeing that at this moment, I was to learn. While despite the idea of just attacking crystal right off the bat when I could get the chance, I needed to continue the lesson. I had to submit at some point and allow myself to be pressed to their ways. I took a deep breath as the woman, Crystal spoke to me about moving on in learning from what was less comfortable. The Priest of Aatrox then spoke about not my lack of combat ability, but my control. In that moment I understood more on what was to be done. I had to control myself, and to use that control along with a lightsaber. I nodded my head, speaking in a clearly more calm tone than before. "Yes Masters." I looked to both of them in turn as I spoke, "I need to control myself, and I have to work even when I am not in a comfortable instance."

I stood up and faced the two of them, "I would like to start again with your permission."

[member="Cameron Centurion"] [member="Zoey Marix"]

Crystal didn't care that Zoey had faked it. She wasn't interesting in wasting her time trying to hurt her. That wasn't what they were there for. Cameron answered first, cementing her position and agreeing with her assessment. It wasn't anything personal against Zoey, as she knew the woman was very capable and she genuinely liked Zoey. But, teaching was different. Sometimes things had to be taken to the extreme for the desired results. In fact, it was much easier to teach children. This she knew from centuries of experience with her own descendants.

Luckily for Zoey, she was willing to listen and thus understood what was expected of her now. She nodded to Zoey and motioned to Cameron. "Go ahead and begin your attack again."

I looked to Crystal as she gave me the command to continue. I nodded my head. Grabbing the saber and activating it to let the training sabers glow to light up my face as I held it close. I had to focus on this. If I did not, I could fall into the cold water, be burned from the saber, bruised, or worse. Breathing in the cold air to help clear my mind, I looked to the Sith Lord. his Sithsword in his hands, waiting for me.

Taking one last breath, I rushed him. Bringing my saber to stab at him. While I kept an eye on [member="Crystal"] should she try to attack me and hinder me from reaching the man. if I had anything to say about it, I would get at him. Eventually.

[member="Cameron Centurion"]

Cameron's sword had remained planted into the ice by the blade throughout the two women's entire exchange. As [member="Zoey Marix"] turned to face him, Cameron remained perfectly still and unarmed. The second that the woman rushed him, the Sith Lord smiled thinly. The power of the Force flowed gently around him, reacting to every little movement of the three entities in the area. So sensitive was the Force that it often whispered what was yet to come. One merely had to have the good sense to hear its call, its whisper.

When Zoey stabbed at him, Cameron merely dropped his right leg back to turn his body, avoiding the strike. He intended for her to continue her attack as he spoke. "More finesse - it has no weight. Adjust to the balance."

And there I was once again about to fall off. I had stabbed at him and he merely turned his body. Standing next to one another, THis would have been his chance to attack me, but he wanted me to attack him. If my mind was thinking right, it was I had to at least hit him, maybe, or come so close that it would have been considered a hit.

We were too close for the lightsaber to be effective. Sure it has a nice reach, but when you are inside a person's reach, its harder to attack them. With the lightsaber in my right, I came around to bring the hilt towards his face. If he was not going to teach me any true form, then I would have to adapt. WIth this close of a range, it was either punch, or send my hilt to his face.

[member="Cameron Centurion"], [member="Crystal"]

[member="Zoey Marix"]'s next attack was predictable not because she lacked imagination or skill...but because she only had so many options. As the hilt of Zoey's lightsaber came around to strike him in the face, the Sith Lord ducked and delivered an open-palm strike to her abdoment. At the same time as his hand came rocketing towards her stomach, he allowed a powerful wave of force energy to erupt from his hand. "You will not prevail if you do not permit the Force to flow through you. You treat it as a tool and not the extension of your existence that it actually is."

Zoey was already a formidable swordsman for the most part. The reason she was clumsy with a lightsaber had much less to do with the lightsaber itself than it did with her familiarity in using the Force. The Sith Lord had seen plenty of individuals with no particular skill with a blade turn into excellent swordsman simply through practice and a strong connection to the Force.

The attack was expected. As a Master, he should know the expected. If he didn't well then I wanted to meet the person who made him a Master and slap them. But I digress. All of a sudden, His hand launched forwards to my stomach. I pushed my own hand forward to attempt to push him back, but I came in too late.

His force push came to hit me hard in my stomach and push me back. I attempted to stop myself by using telekinesis an pull myself down to the Ice sheet. it was less than it could have been, but not by much. I was further back away from the man. Ample range for the lightsabers use. Slashing back and forth from left to right in rapid succession. I then followed up with a Force push. if he wanted the force, I will give it to him.

[member="Cameron Centurion"]

Cameron smiled thinly at [member="Zoey Marix"]'s intensity. Predictable or not, every move Cameron made was to teach, to improve Zoey's comfort and skill. Then again, she was but a student, so he didn't expect her to have that awareness. If this was a real fight, Zoey's body would have already imploded. Cameron had little use for fancy actions these days.

As the woman pressed home her attack once more, Cameron moved quick to avoid the deadly sweeps from Zoey's lightsaber though it was but a training lightsaber from what he recalled her saying. After ducking under yet another slash, Cameron sensed a build-up of energy around the woman. Curious as to her tactical reasoning, he allowed the energy to carry him away. His feet slid across the ice as he laughed heartily and extended his arms out behind him, bringing himself to a step with his own application of the Force.

"Your intensity is good. Your tactical focus...not so much. Simple applications of the Force will save you on valuable energy, yes. However, why create distance when unnecessary. Your foe was unarmed and completely defensive. Yet you pushed them away from you when you had them precisely where you'd like them? Foolish." Briefly, the Sith Lord's eyes flicked to [member="Crystal"] - a sign for her to join the spectacle. Zoey would receive no second chances in real combat, and she'd already gotten one. Perhaps the addition of a second and first armed opponent would...influence her to be more aware of her tactical situation.

"Again!"

Crystal almost chuckled to herself. At the moment, she wasn't the one that Zoey should have been worried about, especially since she was attacking Cameron. That alone required ones full attention at the best of times. He was very fast, and would be difficult to hit. She was no stranger to fighting, but she was at a huge disadvantage with Cameron. A fist fight wasn't exactly in her best interest either, but she wouldn't stop the woman from sealing her own fate.

He offered words of motivation, not praise or criticism. It was unlikely she would see it that way however. The lesson continued, until Cameron looked at her just briefly. Her magenta blade almost seemed to fly as she quite literally slid into action and slashed at Zoey's back. Her blade was set for training mode, but it was unlikely that either of them would know that. Yet.

[member="Cameron Centurion"] [member="Zoey Marix"]

The man was fast. Faster than any other opponent I had faced before. Even with the lightsaber, I was still clumsy when it came to using it. And the sith Master was right about not being Tactically correct in my movements. I had pushed him away, giving him a chance to draw a weapon on me. I shook my head as I mentally kicked myself in the rear. I looked up at the man to see him looking away from me. I looked at him with a quizzed look to hear him say fight, and as on the que, I raised my saber only to be hit with one.

I yelled out in pain and turned to face Crystal. She had used her saber against me, and now I would have to fight both him and her. I slashed at her in return using the pain of the burn across my back as motivation. Just making her back up from me for a moment, I then slid myself back away from both of them to keep them both in my vision. I could not have my back turned to either one of them. I had to keep them both ahead of me, that way I don't get hit again.

my back was on fire. and hurting like none other. made from a Training saber like weapon, I decided to use the force now. I focused myself to be all in one area at once. Keeping my eyes on them. If crystal was to attack me, and keep me from reaching Cameron, Then two can play at that game. With my saber up at the ready, I waited for her.

[member="Crystal"], [member="Cameron Centurion"]

Crystal wasn't entirely surprised that her lightsaber connected with Zoey's back. She'd not been prepared for the attack, which was the point of the exercise. For the moment, she refrained from commenting. The pain was a lesson in itself. She allowed the woman to retreat to regroup. Not that she could go very far. It was very tempting to fight as she normally would, with the Force. But that would not benefit Zoey at all. That's not to say Crystal was not proficient with her blade, but that it was not her weapon of choice.

Zoey's moves were predictable thus far, even without the whispers of the Force. As they faced eachother with Sabers at the ready, Crystal smiled a little. Once again, she was a blur as she moved within striking distance. And her saber swung for the woman's left side at the ribs under her arm. She would be greatly surprised if her saber found it's mark again, as she hoped that Zoey would block the blow.

Immediately after, she flicked her wrists and swung at Zoey's gut. It was on now. She kept her blows easy to predict, if one was listening to the Force. If not, she'd get a few more burns and bruises. She also kept it easy so that the woman could keep tabs on Cameron, if she remembered to.

[member="Zoey Marix"] [member="Cameron Centurion"]

Cameron remained motionless and largely emotionless as he watched [member="Crystal"] strike [member="Zoey Marix"]. Fortunately, failure to maintain situational awareness was ususally a self-correcting problem. However, the woman was still relying a bit too heavily on her innate senses. It was good to use them and sharpen them to the maximum extent possible, yes. However, he was not teaching Zoey to be an effiecient combatant. Cameron was teaching her how to be a warrior, to use everything around her and about her to her advantage.

The three dark siders were standing on floating ice atop freezing cold water. There were any number of things the woman could do to distract or otherwise debilitate her opponents enough to force them to focus on something other than killing her. This was survival, she already had the raw mechanics...they just needed to be perfected, and she neeed to allow herself to remain open to the Force.
