There was no time to linger, but Natalia understood. Her beloved left, but they parted with the briefest brush of his lips. In the next instant, the blonde directed a handful of Coratanni thugs to follow her in.

They fought their way towards the turbo lift, the cries of patrons and increasing dead filling the areas. More and more of the Coratanni runners flooded the area. It was going to be a takedown. Many attempted to find shelter behind tables and under bars, glass shattering and spilling all over the place.

A few more volleys and the Blonde made it inside with three. "Give me the status." she said curtly into her comm, connecting to the leaders of the Runners.

[ We have cleared the east and west wing. Seeing more resistance at the North entrance than expect--]

"Take care of it."

Every man had a secret.

Every man had something to hide. It was a lesson that Slevin had been instilled with, something that was buried so deep into his mind it might have been a thought all on it's own. He wasn't quite sure how it had gotten there, if it had been put there or was some sort of emotional drive, but it was something he knew better than anything else. Everyone had a secret. Everyone kept something from someone, and Vies? Oh he kept everything from everyone.

That only made this more beautiful. "The VIP room."

He ordered one of the men that had accompanied him, taking a half left turn as they shifted slightly down the hall. There were other VIP rooms on the upper levels of course, but this one was special, surrounded with more security and right next to the vault. It was where the high rollers played, and it was also where Vies' Mistress tended the bar.

Slevin grinned slightly as his foot kicked out and broke through the door of the VIP suite.

A scream erupted through the room in an instant, half a dozen people sitting at a Sabaac table standing and staring at Slevin and his men. The Crime Lord grinned, and immediately turned his gaze towards a lovely Zeltron woman behind the bar.

"Take her." Another scream echoed down the hall.

The ding of the elevator announced Natalia's arrival. As did the cold, calculated expression that swept over the blonde's face behind the dark face mask.

As the doors slid open, so did the tips of heavy blaster rifles. A volley of laser fire went flying down the hall, striking without consideration or mercy. It was just a simple, methodical extermination.

This floor held all the visual security. A bit higher on the list regarding defenses, but not impossible. Runners would deploy from the stairs, and the turbo lifts alike. While the windows were sturdy, properly placed detonation packets would burst them open, allowing more of the Coratanni cartel's men to sweep in.

The suite where their target would lay in wait was at the end of the hall past waves of security. At least there were no turrets to worry about.

The owner had made the mistake believing that because it was Zeltros he was safe.

"Please please please"

The echoing screech of the woman that Slevin held by the hair seemed to echo down the hall as he and his men made their way back towards the turbo-lift. The VIP room had been left with several new corpses, brave men who had thought themselves the defenders of this young Zeltron. His men slowly trailed behind him, their weapons raised just in case someone would make it around the corner. Their path went unobstructed however, the rest of the Casino Security having been drawn away.

"Quiet." Slevin said as his hand came up to smack the woman in the face. She let out a whimper, her lip quivering with a trail of blood.

"P-please I didn't do anything."

He looked at the woman, half throwing her forward against the Turbo-lift door as he reached over and pressed the button to call the lift. Natalia would know that it was him coming up the elevator by the slight chirp of her communicator. "No, you didn't."

Slevin said as the doors opened, the Zeltron falling back into the left. Slevin waited for a moment, then followed her inside.

"You just should have picked a better man to get on your knees for." The words came as the turbo-lift doors closed.

"The door is locked tight!" a snarl came from Natalia at the news. No turrets but now they had to deal with that.

"Get me detonator strips." they may not be able to cut the blasted doors down, but they could make their own entrance.

Slevin would be here any second, and she had to make sure that it was ready for when he came.

Bodies littered the floor, her long legs striding over the dead. Two of her runners did as they were told, clearing the area for the inevitable blast that would lead them inside.

"Someone shut that blasted music off." Natalia snapped, sending another Coratanni member running to do her bidding. In the next minute, detonation strips were stuck against the wall and with a solid boom, smoke and grit filled the air along with the blast of laser fire.

The doors slid open to an unexpected serene quiet. There was smoke in the air, the smell of singed wallpaper and burned bodies wafted on an artificial breeze.

Slevin frowned slightly as he stepped forward, grabbing the tiny Zeltron girl by the back of her neck and throwing her forward in front of him. She let out a muted yelp as she fell into the hallway, a thud echoing from her body as he hit the ground. The Crime Lord stepped after her, only to be greeted by one of his men. He Soldier wore a pleased expression, telling the only story that Slevin really needed to know. A smile slowly spread on his lips as he walked forward.

Metal fingers clasped around tight black hair as he stepped besides the girl, pulling her up by her raven locks and yanking her along with him.

She began to cry as they moved. "Quiet now."

His voice was ice. There was no room for compassion in him, not an inch of mercy. They had lost him his arm, they had taken his fingers, his muscles, they had taken it. He scowled at the thought, though the expression was replaced with another smile as he stepped into the penthouse, finding Natalia standing in front of six kneeling men, each of them with their hands tied behind their backs, all looking at the floor.

A powerful wrench sent the girl flying, bits of her hair staying wedged between his fingers as he collapsed right into a weeping puddle right in front of Vies.

[member="Slevin Thawne"]

"Tsk, tsk, tsk." the disapproving cluck of Natalia's tongue echoed within the muted cacophony of the Zeltron's cries. Vies was kneeling in the middle, barely giving the weeping brunette a glance as if trying to avoid notice. If he was shocked that Slevin had brought her here, it reflected but for an instant, the man quickly trying to contain his bearings and keep the facade of a Sabaac face.

"Now, now," she added, taking her shiv and prodding Vies with the tip alongside his neck. "Remember your manners, Vies." a red line appeared as the Natalia pressed it closer, drawing a bead of blood.

"My beloved requires your full attention." As much as she wanted to give him his due, Natalia knew that this was all up to Slevin. It was his game, his method of execution on how they went from here.

Yet that didn't mean that she couldn't have just a bit of her own kilo of flesh.

Slevin stalked through the room like a predator who had finally spotted its prey after more than a month of searching.

His face lacked all expression. His body language told of violence, and everything about him screamed that he was ready to kill. For a time he simply lingered in the doorway, watching silently as Natalia pressed the shiv against Vies’ throat, listening to the whimper of the man's mistress. His face remained impassive.

Yet as he moved forward the captured men seemed to wince slightly, practically reaking of fear.

Slevin paid them no mind, his attention focused on something else for the time being. Slowly he wandered through the room, stepping on one of the corpses that had been left there as he made his way towards his beloved. She would feel an icy metallic hand drift up her back and to the base of her neck, cool fingers wrapping around her hair as he pulled her back and away from Vies.

A forceful tug saw her pulled toward him, making her lean back to expose her lips. Slevin kissed her, his tongue gliding over hers as he held her in place.

Everything in the room was silent, save for the girl still whimpering on the floor. A loud crunch could be heard as Slevin lashed out at the woman, his boot landing in anger. Rage filling him at the affront of her interrupting his reunion.

Not a second would slip past as Natalia wrapped her own hand along the nape of Slevin's neck and brought him back down to her lips anew. The wench might have interrupted with her whimpering, but she wanted to take everything from her beloved anew. Her tongue boldly slid into her beloved's mouth, nipping and tugging at his lower lip as she kissed him with a possessiveness that held no shame whatsoever.

A the end, they lips broke contact and smug satisfaction radiated from Natalia's expression. There was a promise in her gaze, one that would follow to completion after they took care of Vies.

The Zeltron had curled herself into a fetal position, body trembling at their feet.

"What do you want?" Vies managed to state rather boldly, as if he didn't quite understand just what position he was in. Oh, but he would. Slevin would ensure that.

"I am not a patient man." That was the truth if it had ever been spoken.

Often times it was difficult to keep Slevin from doing anything at all. Sometimes he would simply, on impulse, do whatever he pleased. It was the only real struggle between he and Natalia, and in truth he thought she delighted on his brashness. Even when it interfered with her carefully laid out plans. The two had never been angry with one another, they didn't have the capacity for it. He frowned for just a moment as his fingers slowly released the hair of his beloved.

Methodical steps took him around the kneeling men, his mechanical fingers reaching into his pocket.

"I've never quite found the time for subtlety." He said as he stopped behind Vies. "Nor do I care for it."

The quiet snapping of a knife could be heard as he slowly leaned down and grasped Vies' hair. He tore the mans head back, exposing his neck as he slowly pressed his razor against it. The Crime Lord smiled for a moment, then spoke again. "There is only one reason you're still alive."

Slevin slowly turned Vies' head towards the girl on the floor, then quietly began to whisper in his ear.

Vies' eyes seemed to bulge in horror.

"N-No, you can't do that, she'd innoce-"

His voice was suddenly cut off as Slevin slit his throat.

Crimson spray struck the floor, saturated the crisp collar of Vies' collar, and stained the coral skin of the Zeltron who gave a wretched cry in alarm and terror. Sweet satisfaction rose across Natalia's lips. Without further ado, as the writhing and twitching body of the Casino owner danced to the tune of choked gurgles, her crimson tipped fingers came down towards the Zeltron. They took a handleful of that dark hair and yanked up hard, drawing the scrambling, crying woman to her knees.

"Shut up." Came the order from the blonde, the shrill cries and sobs already grating on her nerves. Natalia roughly gave a jerk of the bartender's head back. More tears flooded as her coral neck was laid bare. Honestly Natalia had no preference if Slevin let this one live or not. But she would help him with his show.

He shook his head slowly at Natalia, the signal was an obvious one, but tainted with more than the usual message. Natalia wouldn't know the details of course, they weren't psychic, but she would know Slevin had something else in store for the woman she now held.

Slowly the Crime Lord rose from his place, releasing Vies' hair and letting the corpse fall onto the floor with a loud thud. One of the other men besides him eyed the body, then slowly glanced up at Slevin. He smiled at the man, stepping onto the corpse and slowly wheeling around to look at the three remaining captives. He eyed them one by one, his lips slowly thinning as he watched them cower away from his gaze. Mechanical fingers slowly tightened around his blade.

"You have a choice." This wasn't how it was supposed to have gone.

For once he had wanted it Natalia's way. He had wanted subtlety and the slow press of influence rather than a barraging assault of death. Killing was bad for business in a place like this, but it seemed that these men had other ideas. Shame.

"With Vies dead and his wife soon to follow, Malie will gain controlling interest of his Casino." He looked down at the men. "Under our guiding hand she will make it the most successful on this world."

He glanced towards Natalia. "In order to show your support you will all transfer an ownership stake of your own businesses to Malie, she has just lost her family after all."

[member="Slevin Thawne"]

It was evident that the men were temporarily confused. Maile? He wanted them to transfer everything to Maile? One finally spoke.

"The girl?" he managed to choke out, wincing at the manner the guard held him down upon his knees. Natalia, released the Zeltron, her fingers opening wide so that the woman fell in a heap at the blonde's feel.

In her head, Natalia was going through what Slevin was likely thinking. Meticulous planning for the long con was usually her go to method, but Slevin could surprise her at times. The corner of her mouth gave an upward twitch.

"You head him. Maile."

[member="Natalia Thawne"]

"Yes." He said quietly, agreeing with his own statement and Natalia as well.

"The girl." She was little more than a prop of course. Barely older than eighteen and clueless about how pretty much anything could work. She was weak, malleable, and easily controlled. That was all Slevin and Natalia really needed. Malie was already theirs, and deep down the girl was well aware of it. There was no denying that they had a certain amount of charisma that drew strays to them, it was what had built the Coratanni cartel so quickly. "Do you understand?"

He looked to each of the men in turn.

They glanced at one another, questioning, but as they saw Slevin's gaze they all slowly began to nod. None of them was in any position to argue with him, nor would they be in the future. He had reduced the security of this casino to dust in a matter of minutes, he could do the same to any of theirs. It would take them months to train effective security forces, but by then they would be more than content with their lot in Natalia and Slevin's new regime.

"Good." He said turning away from them and slowly closing his knife.

Slevin faced his beloved.

"Cut them free my dear." Slevin said. "See that some of the girls take care of them."

[member="Slevin Thawne"]

A cluck of her tongue and Natalia swept her green eyes over to the guards. Of course, she wasn't going to personally cut them free. That was a chore for the guards to do. Her distinct nod and gesture prompted the execution of the order.

The Runners bent down, flicking a vibroshiv open, the blades flashing silver under the light. Bonds were cut, and the men on their knees would rub their wrists.

"Chop, chop." the blonde added after, giving a gesture of crimson-tipped fingers.

"We do not like to wait."

The men came to their feet, a few shuffling. There were a couple of hardened glances, but Slevin would not allow for a waver. One second too long and they would find themselves also at the edge of his shiv.

"I am sure you have some way to do it here?" Natalia prompted, her voice sharp and curt.

Corls, a dark-skinned humanoid with bright yellow eyes responded with a nod.

"Good."

It was best that they did this here while they were watching.

Sleivn stood back as Natalia took care of business.

In truth he found himself winding down from all of this excitement, he wanted a drink. His lips thinned for a moment, his gaze falling on the captured men. Slevin silently watched as they were shuffled over to a nearby table, Natalia directing them on exactly what they should be doing. "You."

He kicked the bartender again.

The girl let out a loud whimper, likely expecting death at any moment. It was an eventuality of course, but not yet, not before he'd allowed for the bit of fun that he'd promised VIes. The man was now dead, but Slevin had told him what would happen to the girl, and he was a man of his word if nothing else.

"Do your job." He told her. "Make me a drink."

The girl whimpered, slowly peeking up at him. "Tatooine sunset."

He gave her an impatient state, and then quickly the Zeltron scrambled up from her place and rushed over towards the bar.

[member="Slevin Thawne"]

The girl went to mix the drink, fingers trembling with every step. Emotions rolled from her, her body and pheromones emanating from her body to try and calm the situation, those around her, and herself. However, things wouldn't be so easy with Natalia and Slevin wearing their masks. Not to mention the pheromone implants that the Runners and others under their payroll had been required to be implanted with.

Tucking her blaster away, Natalia's leggy walk strode over the quickening cold body of Vies. She turned towards her beloved, moving behind him to slip her arms through the loops of his arms and bring him close to her.

Her palms went flat against his belly, her lips coming in close as she bit the lobe of his ear.

"So it begins."
